But he's not a leader of the tea party. He allegedly spoke at a tea party event. Does that make him a leader? If you had bothered to read the article you would have known this. Besides that the tea parties host democrats, republicans and independents alike. It's not just republicans, I'm pretty sure most of them are independents.
