Not unexpected. The following was lifted from the DSM. It's the underground edition, but used by practical operations, such as the CIA and FBI:
Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is mental disorder of resentment initially triggered by the election of the 50th U.S. President, Donald Trump, in 2016. Behavioral Scientists state the primary source of TDS is media & political propaganda aimed at those most vulnerable, such as students, unsatisfied dependent women, those surrounded by a poor environments and the illiterate. Above all, people that demonstrate TDS are preoccupied with Trump, and as a rule, they're irrational, easily triggered by emotions, and blame others for their problems. The DSM identifies five stages of TDS, as follows:
Stage 1 TDS: A mild form of irrational resentment toward Donald Trump. While these people are easily swayed they're generally carefree and mentally lazy. The side effects for Stage 1 are unremarkable, and doesn't affect one's ability to function normally.
Stage 2 TDS: Stage 2 TDS is a more advanced form of irrational resentment toward Donald Trump, and the most common. Those with Stage 2 TDS are found highly vulnerable to propaganda as a result of their environment or brain injury. A June 2018 study found that over 96% of those diagnosed with Stage 2 TDS demonstrate an alarming lack of intellectual honesty, and over 90% show severe insecurity. Side effects of Stage 2 TDS include a retarded ability to rationalize political and social behaviors. Nearly 50% of those tested demonstrate an inability to function normally, though the extent of TDS' role in this temperament remains under study.
Stage 3 TDS: Stage 3 TDS is an advanced form of irrational resentment toward Donald Trump. It's determined all people with Stage 3 TDS progressed through Stage 2. Those with Stage 3 TDS accept propaganda they desire as "gospel", primarily because they're mentally weak and fear they may melt under the truth. Side effects include the inability to rationalize political and social behaviors. 82% of those tested demonstrate an extreme inability to function normally. While experts agree TDS is the primary cause, the extent of TDS' role in this temperament remains under study.
Stage 4 TDS: Stage 4 TDS is a severe form of irrational resentment toward Donald Trump. There doesn't appear to be a progression from Stage 2 to stage 4 TDS, and behavior scientists observe there are always underlying conditions, such as schizophrenia, manic depression, head injury and/or severe anger issues.
Stage 5 TDS: Stage 5 TDS is the most severe form of irrational resentment toward Donald Trump. The major difference between Stage 5 and 4 TDS is that Stage 5 always progresses from Stage 2 TDS and determined the primary cause of all subsequent psychological conditions, such as deep paranoia and drug abuse. Side effects of Stage 5 TDS is the inability to process information. Daily tasks such as tying shoes and washing dishes is a challenge, and in some cases undo-able. A February 2019 study concludes that like long-term abuse of methamphetamine, those with Stage 5 TDS are unrecoverable.
