Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker of Illinois said last week that his state has diverted some taxpayer funds from citizens to illegal immigrants.

“We have taken some of the programs that have pre-existed the crisis and adjusted them to help with the migrant crisis,” Pritzker said.

So U.S. citizens in Illinois who need help paying rent will instead help pay for the care of illegal immigrants.

So-called "compromise" legislation only provided further incentive for illegals to cross the border. It was a fraud, a swindle. It's true the existing law was inadequate, but the "compromise" was worse. All it would have done is increase the number of blood sucking parasites entering the country. Illegal aliens who have come into the country during the Biden administration so far are going to cost us $125 billion/anum. How is that going to help with our debt and SS?
