Bear in mind that polls have 55% to 62% OPPOSED to this tax scam.....but, in the desperate scramble to get some kind of Pyrrhic victory, congressional republicans will vote this bill into law.
In its simplest form, here's an explanation of how this tax scam will work......
The federal government will have to borrow #1.5 TRILLION from, China, Japan, the Saudis and of course the American people.....
With that borrowed money, folks earning between $45,000 to $75,000 will have their tax burden reduced by $2,000.
However, folks earning close to a half million or more, their tax burden will be reduced by $10 to $12 K.
Further, the "ingenuity" of this tax scam by republicans, is to HURT blue, rich states.
Finally, any possible objective ethics by moderate republicans to call this scam a scam, has been usurped through bribes for some and promises of wealthy returns for those retiring elected officials who will turn to lobbying jobs.....fairly soon.
