So then...
No MBT section
No IFV section
No SHORAD section
No VDV section
No VKS flyover
The official count:

3x BTR-82 IFV
13x Tigr-M armored car
6x VPK Ural armored car
10x Akhmat MRAP (borrowed from Kadryov)
3x VPK-7829 Bumerang IFV
missiles:
6x Iskander-M TEL
6x S-400 TEL
3x RS-24 Yars TEL
Total # vehicles this year and compared to previous years-
2023: 51
2022: 131
2020 and 2021: ~200
You don't think that a full on war wouldn't alter the event in which Moscow knows full well that Ukraine has the capability of lobbing various types of ordinances into the square if it wanted too ???So then...

They won't buy it on the black market intact, but they'll sure reverse engineer it if they get their hand's on it's critical parts or designs..I'll be curious to see which nations start buying up our Ukrainian F-16's on the black market

Well it didn't stop them last year.During a full on war, no nation would be dumb enough to showcase it's equipment like it would during peace time, otherwise exposing it to hostile action's by an enemy force laying just outside it's borders in which it is fighting with..
Yes, these are questions worthy of debate for sure, but attempting to guess at why militaries do what they do without definite Intel on such matters is just that really "a guessing game".Well it didn't stop them last year.
And they still had their parade this year- it just didn't have much in the way of equipment. The only branch of the military that wasn't represented was the VDV (because they are also fully committed in Ukraine maybe?)
They still had soldiers marching in formation. Putin and Shoigu were in attendance along with the presidents of Armenia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Sorry, I do not find your argument compelling. If the chance of a Ukr attack was so great that they had to leave out the tanks and IFV's, they wouldn't have put Heads of States at risk...
Who will ?They will make their parades in Kiev, Warsaw, Berlin and London.
Isn't that what you were doing in post #6? No military would display their weapons in time of war because it would expose them to hostile action?Yes, these are questions worthy of debate for sure, but attempting to guess at why militaries do what they do without definite Intel on such matters is just that really "a guessing game".
The Russians, of course.Who will ?
Kiev probably, otherwise if it goes bad completely for Ukraine, but Warsaw, Berlin, and London ?? What makes you think this ?The Russians, of course.
I think, both Russia and EU won't stop hostilities after the fall of Kiev (or Lvov), and the crisis of European security will continue until decisive defeat of one or both sides. The USA isn't ready to use nuclear weapons (and Russia is ready) to defend their allies and, therefore, Russia will prevail.Kiev probably, otherwise if it goes bad completely for Ukraine, but Warsaw, Berlin, and London ?? My thoughts are that it ends after the defeat of Ukraine by Russia, and Russia won't seek to go beyond the borders of Ukraine that would inturn spark a confrontation with NATO.I think, both Russia and EU won't stop hostilities after the fall of Kiev (or Lvov), and the crisis of European security will continue until decisive defeat of one or both sides. It depends on possible NATO moves after Ukrainian defeat. Actually, in some scenarios the Russians may prefer to attack Poland and/or Baltic states. My thoughts are that it ends after the defeat of Ukraine by Russia, and Russia won't seek to go beyond the borders of Ukraine that would inturn spark a confrontation with NATO.
Russia isn't that stupid, but it will probably begin to do everything in it's secret intelligence power to undermine every nation that was helping Ukraine against Russia (cyber warfare etc.), but no Russia won't directly confront the west or NATO in a slug out.
Russia has more tanks than any other military power, their number can only be compared with the total tank fleet of NATO.guys , do we have the number, how many tanks do they have ?
