I'm looking at the map and, while I see the el Niño spot, I also can't miss the big red blob in the northern Pacific and the Indian Ocean. What do they cause?

Not sure where the BBC is getting their crap forecast from, but the Region 3-4 is dying and is below +0.5 deg C mean. And Cold arctic water is now spilling over the equator and dampening any warming that might have existed.

I have no idea where they are coming up with their prediction. I have an Idea but........

Good. I hope it shows up, we need the moisture!

While we need the moisture it would bring it would also allow the socialists a free token in their attempt to take over the world and impoverish the US, deprive us of our rights and enslave us.

Sadly I will have to hope that it dies and does not finish forming. The heat is simply not in the oceans to drive this "massive El Nino" prediction. it will be very weak at best.

Not really. Not anymore. The people realize the full court press propaganda that is being spewed at them. They aren't fooled anymore. They now laugh at the predictions of doom and gloom that are constantly being hurled at them. Only the ultra left newspapers and magazines harbor the "believers".

THAT... shows you haven't a clue about what your posting...

How long has it been since we have posted outside 2 standard deviations...? 3.5 months and before that jog it was 3.2 years.

Yes, Billy Boob, I do. Stastitics is a required course for the degree I am pursueing, and I have finished that course.
then what does 2 standard deviations mean?
Probability distribution - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

There you go, learn something
so, it doesn't have any statistical
Funny how you live in an alternative reality, where fake British Lords, obese junkies on the AM radio, and undegreed ex-TV weathermen know more about science than people that have spent decades studying their disciplines.
my reality is the actual reality. No matter how hard you configure them data sets.
Now just what the hell do you mean, "so, it doesn't have any statistical"?

That probability curve is what the whole of stastitics is about.
