This is a cross-party-lines problem. Nothing has been done about it and nothing will be done about it while all that nice lovely money is flowing to the whores in Washington.

Competitive issues also go beyond tax rates. Cost of labor, government subsidies, or lack thereof, government regulations etc. all put the overall cost of production in developing nations below equivalent operations here more often than not. While that is true manufacturing jobs/operations will continue leaving.

It's the bottom line that counts. Taxes are one component, but there are others, very few of which are in favor of American based production.
