LONGVIEW, Wash. -- The Port of Longview is quiet Friday after a violent Longshore union action the day before that damaged property and a grain train at the EGT terminal.
At least 500 Longshoremen stormed the gates, restrained private security guards and dumped grain. The ILWU insists that it control the grain terminal jobs that have been given to another union.
