Along with Luci's question,

Would Scotty Pippen have been a bigger star if he wasn't in Michael Jordon's shadow? What if he had played his glory years somewhere else?

I don't think Pippen would have been as big of a deal without Jordan, just like Malone needed Stockton. After the Bulls, Pippen moved on to the Blazers and wasn't as impressive.

don't tell anyone but I always liked Karl Malone better but I know stockton brought out the best in him and vice versa. I still have my poster of him in a mailman uniform.
