Someone has to buy them! His natural constituency can't read.

    Sounds like Obama...

    That is totalitarian...

Kinda ironic considering Obamafuck is a socialist and preaches socialist ideas under breath.

He has his government buying his fucking books.

You would think that any president that has respect for his position would find that unethical?? no not Obama - he's 1984.

    Chicago rackets!

I really think that it's going to be a long time until someone from Chicago, no matter how honest, will ever be a viable candidate because of Obama.

Yup, so many hoped for change and, boy, did they get it!

Did you read your own article?

But State Department spokesman Noel Clay said the book purchases followed regular government procurement rules. He said diplomats have long used books as a way to help broker talks on important foreign-policy matters.[...]

There’s no indication the White House knew about the purchases, which overall represent just a fraction of the nearly quarter-million dollars Mr. Obama donated to charities last year and his more than $1.7 million in overall income. Mr. Clay said book orders are normally made directly by embassies based on “their experience and knowledge on the ground of the intended audience.”

The point is, the general rule in government work is to avoid even the look of impropriety, collusion, kick-backs, etc.

Nope, that doesn't apply to Obama; he is more special than the rest.
