Cute, but most drones would be unreachable, as well as unseeable, from the ground. A hawk or eagle on the other hand...

I am an electronic tech (not even an engineer) and I can think of several counter measures for drones. Lasers, jammers, defensive drones, etc.

Too bad I don't have the means to get patents or to capitalize some other way.

High tech and probably a lot more expensive than keeping a bird.

It all depends. Why not have and deploy one as a backup for the other?
