Many reports have affirmed that South Sudan has been providing Darfuri rebels movements with heavy weapons and anti aircraft guns. This unceasing support raises doubt about the link between the new born state and the outlawed movements although the two neighboring countries are stepping closer to resolve oil files and other pending issues.

According to Sudan Safari, four trucks loaded with medicines and foodstuffs left Juba on June 27 to supply the Darfuri rebel movements stationed in the Nuba Mountains.

Another report said that Mini Arko Menawe-led faction received military supplies including 21 land cruisers pickups, four quad cannons, 300 Kalashnikov and 120 fuel barrels, 200 torches, 400 Kalashnikov bullets and food supplies. The rebel faction led by Osman Adarob coverages at Tumsaha area

In April, the South Sudanese government provided military support to the Darfuri rebel movements. The military support include tanks, fighting pickups, fuel, ammunition and was handed by the commander by the third infantry division in Bahrel Ghazal.

It was also reported that leaders of the Darfuri rebel movements, Jibreel Ibrahim of Justice and Equality Movement, Mini Menawe of SLM-MM and Abdel Wahid Nur of SLM-AW have inspected the rebel camps in Raja and Al Tonj within the existing military cooperation with Juba to launch hostile operations in Darfur.

Lately, the Sudanese security forces have documented evidence about South Sudan’s involvement in the attack on Taludi and other areas in South Kordofan. According to document obtained by Sudan Media Centre, there were contacts between the two sides, pay roll , ammunition and level of armament.

The evidence is clear that South Sudan has violated all international norms and convention and agreements inked with the neighboring Sudan and the two people.

According to eye witness, Juba has become the destination of the Darfuri rebel leaders- Ahmed Bakheit of Justice and Equality Movement, Mini Menawe and Abdel Wahid Nur- in addition to Abu Al Qasim Imam, the former governor of West Darfur State, and who was later named Minister of State in the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
