I'm pretty sure the agent is paid a commission still, around 10%, so I don't think they'd charge a fee. Could be, though.I wouldn't swear to this, but I don't believe that these plans cost more if you go through an approved/certified health insurance agent. Many of them are going to be able to offer most if not all of the plans.
Absolutely, except that the agent will likely charge a fee.
It's amazing how many people don't get that "Obamacare" is NOT a form of insurance. They're smart enough to understand that Travelocity is not an airline (at least I think they are; hanging in this forum, I'm beginning to have my doubts), but they don't get that the online exchanges are nothing more than a way of facilitating consumer access to health insurance.

maybe that is a reason to use healthcare.gov. If they are getting a commission then they will try and sell the highest priced plan that makes them the most money.
