Now many Canadians view illegal immigration as a problem, when it affects us. Funny how that works. When Trump suggested they would deal with their 11 million illegals accordingly, we had a bunch of Canadian protesters taking to the streets. Now we have many illegal crossing the U.S border into Canada and the tune has changed.

The worst fact is, Canadian know that the RCMP, CSIS and their surrogates aren't capable of handling this danger. They waste millions in overtime chasing rabbits while real threats go unnoticed and cause risks to Canadians and Americans. It's been the Canadian way for decades, all while stabbing allies in the back.

'It's about to blow': Influx of asylum seekers puts strain on small Manitoba community

Greg Janzen, the reeve of Emerson, Man., where dozens of would-be refugee claimants have recently crossed the porous Canada-U.S. border, says some area residents are beginning to express anxiety about the influx.

The small border town of 671 has been galvanized to help asylum seekers, and the issue has certainly put the community on the map, attracting media attention from across the globe. Janzen said he's done 95 television interviews over the last two weeks. Before that he'd only done one, a dozen years ago.

But as the number of asylum seekers continues to surge, it's beginning to put a strain on local resources and raise some security concerns over potential risks to the residents, he said.

"It's starting to get concerning, because the numbers are growing," Janzen said.

So far, the asylum seekers have caused no trouble, and there have been no confrontations. Most residents seem more than happy to help out.

But Janzen said there are worries that someone, possibly with a criminal background, might be able to sneak in among the asylum seekers and into their community.

"I'm scared, the bigger the numbers — if we don't have enough officials, someone is going to slip through the crack because there's so many people to process."

That's the scumbag Turd-eau is for you. Look whose company he is in? That should be a concern.

Funny how that works. Pious Liberals are aghast at denying asylum for Syrian refugees (or who knows?). But the problem is, when the door is opened they keep coming and they don't stop. And there is no way on Mother Earth you can determine if they are peaceful or have a mission to kill as many of you as they can before they die.

These are exactly the reasons why Trump tried to ban them from coming here until we can get a handle on it to figure out who the good guys were vs bad ones.

I've said before how open the Canadian border is.........but I've always been more concerned with Canada's open door policy for refugees & them coming into US from there

No problem with Canucks. They are polite, intelligent people. Now, with the scum flooding their country there is concern about people crossing from there to us.

isn't that what I just said??? Although the OP is saying the refugees that are already here in the US are flooding TO Canada...

Yes, you did. I supported your view.

Canadians are nice people. Our security apparatus...mmm, not so much. They stab America in the back constantly and spread hatred against the U.S which is uncalled for and inaccurate. It's called socialism, anything that is not socialism in Canada is considered the enemy. Those put in place to maintain the system come hell or high water care not who they crush along the way...even relationships with allies...

I was a but surprised reading the paper and listening to the news this morning; apparently Alaska doesn't even have an immigration court o_O We get some judge from Portland who video phones in every couple months. We had 14 people on the dockets for this latest round, all were seeking asylum based on fear of their life if they were returned to their home nations. Only two of them were illegally here, the others had up to date green cards and basically were seeking a faster trip to citizenship. The two illegals, one had snuck in on the southern border and Obama's administration had flown her up here to be with her dad (who had moved here for an oil job 25 years ago) - so uhm basically dad went home and made a kid like 20 years ago (I got a very strong impression mom might have been a prostitute since the girl said her mom threw her out at age 12 but idk.) The other was a guy who claimed he was fleeing the drug cartels, he'd crossed the southern border and been sent to a detainment facility like the girl had, then Obama's administration sent him up here for some unknown reason, guy said he hated it up here because it was so cold, he wanted citizenship so he could "freely" move south. (I'm guessing he means ICE won't catch him as easy. Alaska being probably the best place in the entire nation to "hide out" heh) The rest were Visa imports to various jobs who fell in love with Alaska and wanted to stay past their Visa's. (I'd say America, but frankly we're nothing like the lower 48 heh)

I just thought it was interesting.

The OP extracted portion stops just before the scary part:

'It's about to blow'
Janzen said he's concerned that someone with criminal intent could break into a home, or attempt to steal a car, which could lead to a clash with a member of the community.

"It's about to blow. I think there's going to be confrontations," Janzen said. "There's going to be an incident."

Yup and once they kill they will kill again unless they are killed or escape.

Canada is allowing thousands into their country and when it bites them in the ass they will find out just how many terrorists were in with the refugees.
