You and care need to take a few classes on how the Government works, There are usually classes at any Community College.

The Executive branch can not ignore the legislative Branch. The President can not violate the laws he has signed or allowed to become just that, laws.

We must assume that every democratic president before now ALSO had the intent to violate the law, since they ALL had executive signings and edicts.

You two are either misinformed or delusional on how our Government works.

So far this Dem Congress has broken nearly every promise they made to get elected

they promised not to raise taxes

they promised to stand up to terrorosts

they promised they would not try to cut and run from Iraq

they promied they would work with Republicans

they promised they would reduce pork

they promised they would "drain the swamp" of corruption

they promised they would reduce Congressional travel at taxpayer expense


well they are 0- 7 and keep the books open


No wonder their approval numbers are in the toilet

I do believe that the administration knew about the impending attack because we have a presidential briefing that stated such? Is it wrong to believe the truth? gees....

And I am not denying that there was neglegence regarding this during the Clinton administration's upcoming time to this either!

President Bush himself SAID that it sure would be alot easier being a dictator than to have to deal with congress, I presume he meant in this comment...

he has taken many more steps to usurp congress than any president in my lifetime, and he has deisregarded the law on many occaisions with the excuse of us being at war....he refuses to EVER testify under oath....

and all of that along with the LIES that I believe he has told the american people through misrepresentations and through deceit and through confusion etc and through witnessing the incompetence of this administration and their "picks" to represent us and the various dept heads that have been incompetant in their positions, that this President is reaching for more power than his position gets under the constitution and I have NO CONFIDENCE in him to be the sole decider on EVERYTHING in a natural disaster situation...

I should be allowed MY representation....and that lies with Congress.

Also, this executive order would go for any and all presidents to follow... this is way too much power to be given to a person UNKNOWN too!

I do not think the president is going to attack us for goodness sakes....my comment was that they know of another attack coming... not them committing the attack.... but that the terror level could be higher than we are being TOLD.... just as it was higher than we were TOLD before 9/11.

Our government created what is now the department of the CIA and several other national security agencies because of this unexpected and surprise attack.... these depts are costing us BILLIONS UPON BILLIONS now and trillions over the years....
