If employee cafeterias become illegal, bringing your lunch from home is next. The effect is the same.

Liberals just cant help themselves. Their policies have made it difficult for people to own and operate restaurants. Their answer is force residents to spend money they may not have on eating lunch out, when a free lunch was already a benefit many of the ( evil capitalist )companies were offering for free. The next thing we will hear is that those employers must give the workers money to spend on lunch. Now these fine upstanding liberals are trying to tell people how and where to spend their money. They really are ridiculous.

They can never admit their policies have a part in creating any problem. Therefore they can't actually fix the root causes of the issues and instead are forced to create new laws and regulations in an attempt to "solve" the problems created by the existing laws and regulations.

By law, they can prevent employees from bringing their own lunch. You can't
bring food into a restaurant (cross-contamination). They might get a pack of crackers in or something, but not a lunch.

Now they probably only charge their employees 50% of menu cost, but usually
food cost is around 65 to 70%, depending on the meal so the restaurant
is still making 15%.

An outdoor salad of human shit and used syringes is the REAL San Francisco treat. In my delirious, leftist train wreck of a state, a plastic straw is taboo but a syringe full of junk is fine -- even though a syringe uses many, many times more plastic than a straw. I predict the state of CA will go through some weird, major upheaval at some point in the future. I mean, this level of bullshit can only go on so long before something has to give.
