Many GOP states now require you to work to receive Medicaid, and in Mi even if you are on Medicaid for 48 months you have to pay 5%. You also need to be dirt poor to receive it. Just like Texas, dirt poor.

    LOL.

If you're dirt stupid, as indeed you are, you like the idea of other people paying for your shit.

A fifteen dollar an hour minimum wage means Labor can buy their own insurance, pay more in taxes, and create more in demand.

the right wing doesn't like it, Because the poor may benefit.

but, at least they won't be able to complain about the poor, not "paying their fair share"; that would be Worth it, all by itself.

What about the people unable to work or are retired living on SS. Everything will be more, because if employers need to pay more, they will rape the consumer. Taxes need to be higher to pay for universal healthcare, or people pay according to wages they make.

You bring up a good issue, as we know the cost of living is different for every county you live in, and so should the poverty level change.

You seem to be gloating about something, but I'm not sure what it is. What are you talking about?

social services cost around fourteen dollars an hour by comparison.

And, higher paid labor pays more in taxes and creates more in demand. Allegedly low cost areas tend to have less infrastructure. Higher paid labor can help.
