During the entire Scott Walker recall debacle, Obama didn't have time to stop and try to help the dem candidate. He knew the guy was going to lose, so he didn't bother. No need to be visible on a losing run.
So will the Dems in Wisconsin hold that against him?? Sure he'll have his die hard group that wouldn't think of voting against him but the Unions are kinda p*ssed at him for not showing up and scheduling the DNC in a non-union state. They aren't funneling the money his way, they are saying they're broke.

I think you completely misinterpret what Wisconsin was about.
it was not that there was any great love for Scott Walker.
It's that most Wisconsin residents thought that the recall was an abuse of the system. The Recall should be there to get rid of outright malfeasence, not just because you don't like the person in the job. Otherwise, no politician would be able to do their jobs.
The unions should have gotten that message when the first batch of recalls fell flat, but because one guy got booted out for running off with the secretary, they thought there was something to be gained. Obama was probably pretty astute not to waste any political capital there.
I still think he'll take Wisconsin in November, despite Ryan.
