That makes Trump different from Bill Clinton, W, and Obama in that even though all of them ended up divisive, but I don't think they intended to be ... they didn't have a subset in their base calling to lock up the other side or denying people are citizens. But Trump would be polling under 10% if he didn't have an appeal to working class folks without college, or even HS, degrees who have been left behind. Personally I don't really see him doing jack shite for those folks, and imo he's a con man. But, everyone has their own right to opinions.
There really aren't a lot of violent people amongst liberals or libertarians. I think White Supremacist types are more fake libertarians. People who call themselves libertarians fail, imo, because it's impossible to really live the creed in today's economy, and their ideal is just unobtainable despite any good intentions.
