snopes.com: Obama's Agenda: Overwhelm the System

Rumor had it this guy who wrote the article below never knew obama and others who knew this guy and obama knew each other said this guy never wrote the article.

Rahm Emanuel cynically said, "You never want a crisis to go to waste." It is now becoming clear that the crisis he was referring to is Barack Obama's presidency.

Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.Â

Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.

Full article: Obama's agenda: Overwhelm the system - Opinion - ReviewJournal.com <---i did cut a few things out in the quote above so if you want to see it all click it.

Lets discuss the article.

Cloward - Piven stratagy

this has been the play book of liberals for decades. It's designed to force more and more people onto the government dole so we can be easily controlled.

For the general welfare and our own good, of course.

Yeah "for your own good" my behind!

Like R.R. said..."the 9 scariest words in the english language are "I'm from the government and I'm here to help"

When I heard Glenn Beck (sorry libs) talking about this kind of cloward and piven stuff it did make sense but in my mind I was thinking there is no way any American President would ever truly try this.....however over time Obama's own actions as president, speeches, and general attitude have made me feel this is what he is actually doing.

And he isn't dumb so whatever he does is intentional.

Yep, he is following the Cloward-Piven strategy to a tee.

You think he really cares unemployment is up to almost %10, gas prices are almost $4 dollars a gallon, food prices are going through the roof..? think again. It fits right into his agenda.

PP? Are you getting stupider lately?

What snopes confirmed is that the person attributed for writing the opinion piece did in fact write it.

Actually, if you look back, you can find the roots of C-P in FDR.

Welfare was created to help people get over the hump, and now it's a life style for many.

C-P just put it down on paper.

snopes confirmed that an opinion was correctly attributed to someone.

that's like writing

snopes confirmed: auf camp like hitler youth camp

when actually snopes just confirmed that someone voiced that opinion.

Oh no, a thread title that is MISLEADING??

Ravi, you must be shocked to bits! Shocked, I tell ya! Cuz you would never, EVER do such a thing YOURSELF!

And of course it's his plan, he's said as much. He wants to price fuel out of the reach of the average American so they will be FORCED to use other energy...of course, he doesn't care that in doing so, people will die, starve, and the standard of living will drop, drop, drop, and the economy will flop, flop, flop.

Wait.

So the meat of the issue is true. Obama wants to overwhelm the system.
But to deflect you nuts are clinging to the thread title.

Well that tells me that the common liberal supports crashing the system and forcing everyone under the yoke of government control.

And here I thought yall didn't understand, when clearly you do.

The middle class is still in the way. Time to suck a few trillion more out of them via a major stock market sell-off.

"Crashing the system"? Seriously, is it even possible for a libertarian to write something that doesn't drip with teen angst?

I wonder that virtually every time I see a libertarian write anything.

I'm a libertarian?

That's funny.

And thanks for not denying the fact you support crashing the system to get more and more people on the government dole.

Nothing like needing the government freebies to get votes for liberals.

So, What's it like supporting tyranny?

Supporting tyranny must be like loving the smell of napalm in the morning.

This makes me want to become President and Keep America on top.
And I would run online polls on my decisions as president so the people can have a say in things.

Yayy, Democracy!

You know, I've heard this theory espoused by more than a few. Nothing Obama has done has accomplished anything but create more unemployment, more debt and more uncertainty.

One has to wonder... is he just utterly clueless, or, is this all by design?

:eek::lol:

Odd bit of irony.

Tyranny is what lead to that now famous line.

JFK wanted to force democracy on another country by killing the locals ourselves instead of the locals killing each other.

who started swinging this axe?

If the republicans want to stop this economic disastor then all they have to do is pass a clean bill to raise the debt limit.

The right crashed the world economy with their historically failed ideas and now started swinging this axe to finish the country off.

They have the country to the bathtub and are trying to finish the job.

The right is marching to Grover Norquist's tune.

Considering how many Harvard Professors he has working for him, the only conclusion is that it's intentional.
