Since 2011, Baltimore has lost or settled more than 100 cases related to police brutality

About 25 per year? In a city of 620, 000 and a police department of over 3000? Working 24/7 hours?

Thats a very very tiny % problem. I bet the local WalMart gets more than 25 lawsuits a year.

Obviously not.

Then you suck at math.

Baltimore is a huge city and a huge police department. Only 100 claims? Thats tiny.

People claim police brutality all the time. Lawyers know that its cheaper for the city to settle than to pay a lawyer to go.to trial. PDs will toss a few thousand dollars to settle a bullshit complaint just because its cheaper.

Id expect a city like Baltimore to have a few hundred a year. Not just 25-30 per year....out of what...3000 cops at BPD? Working a city of 620, 000?

Im actually quite impressed. Thats excellent restraint for such a tiny % of their officers to get accused of "brutality .

..and in that same time how many negroes have killed each other?
It's not a crime problem...it's a negro crime problem.

I fully agree and sympathize with the people who are genuinely protesting the way the Cops are treating citizens of Baltimore.

As should all freedom loving Americans.

What I do NOT agree with is the the dimocrap party bringing in rent-a-riot types; communists, professional anarchists, Black Guerilla Family communists, Occupy communists, socialist anarchists, Back Panthers, Crips, Bloods, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, etc, etc in order to garner political points

They WANT the violence. I don't mean the actual people trying to get National Attention, I'm talking about the professional dimocraps.

People who can't separate the two groups are just simply clueless

You say that no matter how many cases are shown. The difference between Walmart and the police is they are supposed to protect.

But in your game of justifications you compare cops to criminals and now cops to walmart.

Good job

Miscellaneous Posts 2014 Baltimore City Homicides Murders - List and Map

DontTazeMeBro. ...you can focus on the 25-30 per year ALLEGATIONS of police brutality....and the 1 tragic death.

Im more concerned with Baltimore's murder rate....at a clip of over 210 per year!

They slaughter each other...no one gives a fuck. But one dies in police custody...and the military must deploy to control the rage.

Its like Sunnis vs Shiites slaughtering each other....then calling the Americans the bad guys for.trying to.stabilize it.

Only 100 claims? Thats tiny.

Not only a 100 claims...Its 100 SETTLEMENTS...I bet the claims that werent paid out is waaaay more.

No matter the number you'll say these apples are tiny compared to oranges

Raw numbers don't tell whole story. How does it compare nationwide? Avg of 50 grand per case seems rather small..is it just another redistribution game rubber stamping bogus claims?

I'm getting used to this. It's not easy being prescient

50 Social Media Accounts Agitating In #Ferguson Also Active In #Baltimore

It is no surprise to Weasel Zippers readers, that some of the same ‘activists’ agitating in Ferguson are now also agitating in Baltimore. We have noted in the past that many didn’t start the agitating with Ferguson, but with Occupy and Anonymous as well as other leftists groups that existed prior to Ferguson, such as the Answer Coalition, the Party of Socialism and Liberation, the Revolutionary Communists and the People’s Power Assembly.

Today, Catherine Herridge at Fox reported that a data company has confirmed the 50 social media accounts that were agitating in Ferguson are also agitating in Baltimore, providing more proof of the “professional traveling leftist protester” of whom we have spoken.

As we have noted, these ‘professionals’ are about exploiting any situation to advance the cause of ‘bringing down the evil system’.

They are "protecting". Who the fuck do you think the threat is? These thugs. Police confront and arrest thugs....to protect the rest of us.

They're indeed doing exactly that.

If not for police....thousands of Freddie Greys would roam the suburbs terrorizing honest hard working families. Just glance at his rap sheet.

So yes...the cops are indeed protecting.

Yep. A thug says his handcuffs were too tight...gets his cousin who graduated from Round Tha Block University Law Skool Online....and they sue. City throws them 10k instead of spending 75k on a trial.

Its a scam. But the government bean counters are suckers for it.

Well ok then, You saw what they have to work in with the riots and looting's

so instead of being a armchair complainer, Move to Baltimore and become a police officer

let us know how it went

Just sick how they twist themselves into JUSTIFYING these riots and burning of towns now

the people with any sense WOULD move from that city. The Thugs has taken it over

get out now while you can

Freddie Gray? The man killed and charged with nothing...the police found nothing. You're right, cant have guys around that arent breaking the law.

Who do I think the threat is? Well if you ask anyone in Baltimore its the Police AND the Criminals.

But only one of those guys get to go home after commiting a crime.

Blacks kill each other in Baltimore about 200x a year.

How many blacks has Baltimore police killed....in the last decade?

No. DontTazeMeBro and CC are too much of cowards to ever do that. They bitch about what police are "supposed" to do. But neither would ever have the balls to join and set the example.

Police brutality and abuse of power is a real problem, and black individuals, no matter what you want to say, have historically faced problems.

There you go again comparing cops to criminals.

Good thing too because they both act the same but you sympathize with one.

You know "Stop Snitching" or do they call it something else on the force?
