Considering how Russia has shocked everyone by so far steamrolling Ukraine, what is to stop them from taking over Poland, the Baltic countries, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Great Britain and all of Europe in a purely conventional war without even using or threatening to use their nuclear weapons?

But we expected Russia to easily take Ukraine.

If, however, the war criminal attacks, say Poland, NATO (including the United States) would easily repulse the attack.

The morale in the Russian army is very low. Those young men are interested in the good life. Not in giving their lives for that war criminal.

Is there a chance that Russia would resort to nuclear weapons?

But, sadly, that's the chance NATO will have to take.

Yep, Iraq had the 4th largest army in the world, yet we toppled their entire government within two weeks, and Iraq wasnt on our border. We had to coordinate logistics to go to the other side of the world. Russia ran out of gas on the way to a neighboring country? What the fuck man?! Russia looks stupid right now.

Actually his performance seems very disappointing, I think Putin will lose Ukraine especially in the long term. Very poor planning on Putin's part. His army is a joke as far as how innefficent they are at taking Ukraine, you could send a troop of Boyscouts to do a better job. Looks like he trained a bunched of monkeys who barely have enough IQ to tie their own shoes to be soldiers, they were stupid enough to almost accidently blow up a nuclear power plant. Not true.
Russia has not bombed nuclear plants, hospitals, etc.
In fact, it has been proven that the Ukrainians have targets their own sites, like the railway station.
The Ukraine is the guilty party, has committed mass murder for over a decade, stole Russian oil, and is trying to put NATO nukes on Russia's border, illegally.

Putin is deliberately using T-72 tanks that are over 50 years old, so he can test and use up the smuggles US javelin missiles.
He shifted to the east because the people in the west were giving away Russian positions. That won't happen in the east, where everyone is Russian and want the Russians to win.
The Russians have essentially already won, and the question is just whether or not to totally destroy western Ukraine or not?
