You are accused of a crime but they have no evidence and so you are not charged. The police have seized your property under suspicion that you may have been involved in a crime. You miss your court date to try and retrieve what has been taken. (your car, a boat, some piece of property) You have now lost your property. It's legal and is called civil asset forfeiture. Should civil asset forfeiture laws be repealed?

So you want others to treat you fairly but you are not willing to treat them fairly? Is that it?

Amended, but not repealed completely. Should require an actual criminal charge be filed so they're not being misused to swipe people's monies and goods absent criminal charges.
