CDZ Should a POTUS be permitted to destroy records of conversations and discussion among officials?

Agree, Any thing that relates to the running of our country, am not sure why? we never seem to learn from history.

Yes he can destroy anything he wants that is private.

There's a lot of regulation concerning what records are not his personal domain, however. This is the line that Hillary tripped up.

For example, communications between two government email addresses btwn two government offices are not the domain of the private individuals that run them. When business is done on these it is government domain, and often business cannot be transacted off of these channels. This information cannot be destroyed without government process (for example when government information is shredded at embassies). This type of information often comes with controls by govt clearance level.

Then there's the issue of official business conducted on private email accounts or servers. Conducting your positions business on private email is often illegal, though persons are allowed to communicate privately.

These rules adapt all the way to controlled and restricted or designated govt property computer hardware of varying degrees of security, from laptops that can be brought home, to top secret cable or information that is only available at secured locations.

Nobody cared about any of that as long as Obama, Holder, and Hillary were doing it, so no reason for anybody to care now, except losers who have no genuine issues they can promote.
