There was a shooting outside of the stadium. Upon hearing the sound of gunfire, fans inside the stadium were ordered to take cover. So, they acted like congress and hid under the seats.

Then, the game was stopped (in the 6th inning) and fans were sent outside of the stadium to muck up the crime scene.
