    you know we need more english speaking instructors here in iowa. imsitting in political economy right now with some chick from turkey or where ever the hell shes from and i havent understood one word from her in the last 2 hours. what the fuck is that shit

    My son had to drop 'Chaucer' because the instructor had such a thick Indian accent. The kid couldn't tell if he was speaking Hindu or English. Something is wrong with this, how did this guy get through the interview?

    not entirley on line. they call it blended. two hours in class and the rest of the crap on your own. you jsut post your work to the schools boards.

    An expert command of the English language should be a basic requirement for any teacher.

    I had to drop a math class at Berkeley because the instructor couldn't speak English. He would write numbers on the board and then wave his arms around.

    I don't speak arm-waving.

    Maybe those instructors, or the ones who hired them, need one of these,,,,

    That is incredibly offensive. Blame the educrat bureaucracy and their PC agenda for hiring teachers who can't speak English. The teachers came to America to make a life for themselves. Just as most of our ancestors did.

    nice post WW, I had a Dr in Minn from pakastan or the like ...I dont know if his english got better over the course of 2 years or I had to see him so much I started to understand his pigese or whatever it was... will say he was a good Dr...just had a serious communication problem. trouble was the town could not get an american born Dr to sign on...to far to the mall...120 miles....and made more $$$$ in the big citys...
