Fresh batch of DNR cannon fodder. Check out the WW2 steel helmets. I bet they can't wait to get their 100 year-old bolt action rifles.

I wonder how long these guys will last?

Btw, The Independent is owned by an ex-KGB, now Oligarch Alexander Lebedev. He supposedly transferred it to his son, but he is still in charge of the digital media. He was one of the first to come under western sanctions.

The Independent puts out a lot of stories intended to demoralize Ukraine.
The Ukes don’t need any help being demoralized, their leadership is taking care of that.

Well, we will see. The coming month will show how effective the deliveries of Western artillery systems are. This summer will be a hard period, it seems.
Milley and Austin did a presser after the Contact Group meeting today. Ecuador, Georgia and Moldova attended so it's up to 50 countries. Milley complimented the skill of the Ukrainian artillery.

It's kinda long but there are a few tidbits.

Good. But then again it needs the time to see what it will mean on practice. In the course of a month we can draw some conclusions, I guess.

In Severodonetsk´s Azot chemical plant, 2000 troops hostile to sanity are holed up, 25 % of them are foreign mercenaries. Russia has opened a humanitarian corridor for the civilians, which may be under the plant. If the Ukrainians keep them as hostages to not be attacked, they won´t let them go, of course.

The Ukrainian forces are ordered to withdraw from the city.
Lysychansk is encircled.
Hundreds of Ukrainian troops surrendered or died. In the surroundings Lysychansk, it is guessed that 1000 Ukrainian troops were killed and up to 3500 wounded in the past 48 hours. 800 surrendered according to the DPR.
A new administration for Severodonetsk is being established.

Lysychansk is encircled.
6 weeks ago you told us Severodonetsk was encircled.

10 weeks ago you told us how the entire Donbas was about to be encircled.

The UA evacuated SDonetsk 4 days ago, and the Hirske-Zolote pocket yesterday. There might be a few stragglers, but no capture of thousands of AFU fighters- your propaganda is weak.

No one is claiming encirclement of Lysychansk right now, because the Russians would have to advance from both the Popasna and Lyman directions, and the UA still controls territory in both those directions out of Lysychansk. We already know what will happen if Russia tried to cross the S-D at Severodonetsk, lol.

Most of the UA forces in the Donbas have repositioned to Bakhmut already. They are preparing a welcome party. :Boom2:

Since the Russians exert fire control over the supply lines to Lysychansk, nothing is going in or out. Those who were trapped in Severodentsk are now trapped in Lysychansk. Yesterday, 720 Ukrainian soldiers fell in battle. Is that how successes look like?

"In total, 215 airplanes and 132 helicopters, 1,363 unmanned aerial vehicles, 350 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,809 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 682 combat vehicles equipped with multiple rocket-launching systems, 3,012 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 3,864 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation."
