Senator JD Vance issues a DIRE WARNING that the US can't produce enough weapons stock to support our own needs, let alone enough for Ukraine:
“We need missiles. And America doesn't make nearly enough of those, not for our own security, and certainly not enough to support both the Ukraine conflict and, God forbid, a conflict that might occur in East Asia. So let's specify that a little bit more. We are right now depleting critical munitions, missiles, artillery shells and bullets faster than we can replenish them. “
Commentary:
I totally agree with Senator Vance.
As I've previously posted on USMB America and Democrat politics have shot America in the foot by sending it's manufacturing facilities overseas, nor is America the bread basket of the world.
Take for example America today manufactures little Steel, Aluminum, Lead or Copper.
Seems China is the leader in manufaturing the above along with fact that China also has control of rare earths and metals necessary for high tech equipment.
We no longer have the Steel Mills, even U.S. Steel has been sold to Japan while Bethlehem Steel closed in 2003.
The manufacture of steel is of prime importance in war, then come fuel and lubricants and food.
All of which Democrat CPUSA Neo-Marxists have destroyed within America
