Senate passed $95 Billion Ukraine/Israel/Taiwan/No Borders bill while you were sleeping this morning

It's never been perfect here. But it is a hell of a lot better that most other places in the world. 2.2 trillion dollar gift to the wealthy 2020 makes this aid package look tiny. How much have we spent in Iraq since RayGun started supporting the brutal dictator Saddam in the 1980's, and the various wars (much more expensive to also fight as opposed to sending aid) to clean up that mess?

Yes, isn't it time we stop? You are arguing we should continue to throw away our wealth. Or rather we should get ourselves further and further into debt to start and fund stupid wars.

If it's so important, pay for it.

A stand alone IDF funding bill would have easily passed both houses of congress long before now.....But instead the dems and RINO neocons want to play their little fuck-fuck games for Uke funding so here we are.
Talk is cheap. Your team voted against aid for Israel, what three times now? Its no longer a bug. Its a feature.

Its weird when MAGA are literally on the same side as the HAMAS supporters. But hey, you do what Your Leader TELLS YOU TO DO.

Israel seems to be doing fine without our money. No?

We are asking them to stop but yet we are supposed to be funding their war all at the same time?

The House is too busy investigating Hunters Laptop
We all know the house Republicans are infected with vichy Progs. It seems that we are tied of the trillions and trillions of dollars Progs print up to fix any problem which it does not and enact new programs or expand on them. The hugest frauds in human history are Progs. They can do good and have. However, in the end they became locusts to the worker ants.

70% of all Senators voted to stop Russia, continue the fight against the Hamas terrorists, warn China about Taiwan.......

Will the House continue to support the Russia invasion of The Ukraine, and support the inhumane murderers of Hamas, and an expansionist China, or will they finally support continuation of the post WWII American position as the leader of the free world?

or the Senate could make all the issues into separate resolutions.

or they can vote on what the House passes, and since all appropriation bills have to Start at the House, why is the Senate passing this first in any event?

And where's the money coming from, professor?

Hopefully the House doesn't cave.
Which, it seems, puts the House in the position of rejecting Hispanic families desiring to come to America for a better life, to work, pay taxes, and contribute to our more perfect union. And then, on the other hand......

......encouraging Russia to invade Ukraine to steal their resources, kidnap the children, rape the women and commit war crimes.

Choices. Choices.

Pay for it all if it's such a good thing.

Once you cut through that fantastical nonsense you're left with a Speaker aligned with Trump on Ukraine. Both support a policy ceding it to Putin. A reward for the atrocious war crimes he has ordered against a sovereign nation.

Carlson emerged from the interview shaking his head. “Russia is not an expansionist power,” he said. “You’d have to be an idiot to think that.” Actually, you might look at the evidence—the invasion and de-facto control over about a fifth of Georgia in 2008, the annexation of Crimea in 2014, the continued occupation of about a fifth of Ukraine and the ongoing offensive there—to conclude that Russia is an expansionist power. During the interview, Putin gave every indication that he thinks of former imperial possessions as still rightfully Russia’s. That would include not only former Soviet republics but also Finland and Poland. “The professional liars in Washington . . . are trying to convince you that this guy is Hitler, that he is trying to take the Sudetenland, or something,” Carlson continued. “Not analogous in any way!” In fact, Putin had clearly, and more explicitly than ever before, channelled Hitler during the interview. This is what a tyrant looks like: small, and full of tedious resentments.

Yeeeeaaaah....Let's continue to empower the smuggling cartels, that kidnap children, rape the women and commit all manner of crimes against the "migrants".

If you pious liberoidal assholes didn't have double standards.....

I really had to laugh at the title of this thread. So, the OP laments the passing of a foreign aid funding package by the Senate that contains no border bill when the same OP was an against the Border Bill last week. Simone Biles would be proud!

US spends $850 billion a year on its military

Ukraine is taking on our biggest threat
So let's spend more on the money laundering operation in west Eurasia, than was spent on the entire USMC in all of '23!!
