I personally don't see him as president. SOS maybe in the future if the U.S elects the right GOP president again. I'm not holdng out on this after Trump lost. He would have to be very involved and convincing to drive trust again of his voters who see nothing but RINOs around him.

How is the govt. going to defeat the wishes of the wealthy who donate to their campaign?

It is not impossible but the giants that are intertwined with Chinese production are not just going to walk away from 500 billion in profits over your concerns of what China is.

Trump 2019 trade war with China was a failure and that year we only had 2.3% growth.

Dont we owe China a lot of money? Any chance republicans would reneg on the debt? That would be great if we filed bankruptcy and only had to pay them ten cents for every dollar we owe them.
