Self-Proclaimed "Obamacare" Protester, Katy Abram, Found To Be A Bloody Liar

Actually I thought this at first too, but then a "tea-bagger" friend of mine corrected me.

It developed through the "tea-bagging" motions and suggestions many of them made at various protests...

Sort of a way of saying they were "tea-bagging" president Obama.

Comes from a habit that online gamers have of "tea-bagging" their opponents after a victory.

So you're claiming that these people refer to themselves as "tea-baggers?"

Some of them did, apparently, yes. As I stated, that's what I was told, by a "tea-bagger".

You really have to understand this facet of serious video-gamers to understand why.

I don't buy this for a minute. Who in the world would refer to themselves as "tea-baggers?" People don't generally go around making fun of themselves.

Don't ask me, ask them. I told you I was orignally under the impression it was a creation of Keith Olbermann. If you can prove my friend wrong, be my guest. No skin off my back.

How can I prove that they never referred to themselves as "tea-baggers?" Find videos of them not referring to themselves as such? The burden of proof is on you for claiming that they do refer to themselves as "tea-baggers."

For those of you who aren't getting what we are talking about, here is the interview. The stand-in nails her at around 4:20.

YouTube - Hardball-Specter Town Hall guest Katy Abram not political until "Obama Socialism" appeared

You know, I saw this show live, but I didn't reallize until seeing it again, for the umpteenth time just now, that you could get a definitive realization that she was lying just from the segment.

She mentioned that Obama said something...back in 2001, she had seen it on tv herself she said. Larry didn't even see it, he took her word for it because he's giving her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't lie. 2001...so she was interested in politics enough to see and REMEMBER Obama making some obscure statement back then.

I'll be honest, I wasn't into politics until about...hmmm...04, and then just marginally...I REALLY got into it in late 07 and 08. I only remember major headlines if any from before then.

Anyway, she stated that she doesn't talk politics with her parents? Who's gonna believe that an adult does not talk politics with her parents?

Everytime I talk to my dad, we talk about everythingg, including politics...I even talk to my great uncle about politics, and he's a Republican...who does she think she's fooling?

When asked if the 250K tax thing would affect her, she hedged and first said that she rather not say and then she quickly said the she "doesn't know" "my husband takes care of all of that and thats all that matters."

Stinking liar.

Um, again, I'm really not that interested, just passing on information I heard. If you think MSNBC named 'em "teabaggers" then sure, why not?

Now you're just being an asshole...I state initially that they ignorantly and unwittingly created that term for themselves.

Snap out of it!!

Yeah, though, I thought the 250K question was a low blow. I don't blame her for not wanting to answer that.

She said that Obama said he supports a single-payer healthcare plan, which he has said. I've seen a video of him saying it on the news within the past few weeks. She could have seen the video recently.

Oh, I don't think so, I think there were other points that were worse than that.

I mean income is directly relevant to the issue at hand.

BTW, I wasn't astute enough to catch this on my own, but when Mrs. Abram dreams of restoring the Country our "founding fathers envisioned", will she be surrendering her right to vote at the same time?

She's still a private individual and that is an extremely personal question. I know where the announcer was going, I just thought it was in poor form.

And maybe she will have her husband buy a 'Negro' handmaid or two for the household staff.

The unwashed trailer home right simply speak without thinking.

Perhaps, I'm iffy on it. I think I would probably feel the same way if I didn't know now that the woman was lying the whole time.

If she had been genuine about her history and motives, I would have probably felt it was innappropriate too I guess.

Yeah, I'm goinig to have to agree on this. That video has been goinig around a lot lately, she could have seen it more recently.

She still lied a whole bunch though.

Only because she lied. Other than that, she's a normal person.

For someone that has been lobotomized. She didn't know whether she was over or under the $250k mark? Her husband handles everything? Sheesh!! Brood cow!!! Not interested in war because "we're always involved in some conflict"?

gahhhhh!!! Disgrace to the gender!!!

She saw the video from 2001 recently? Go back to the tape...from her language she came off as if she said she say it back in 2001, 2002...she rattled off both years, as if she were going back in her mind trying to think back and remember when exactly she saw it. Had she seen it recently, she would have said I've seen old footage of Obama saying "x." Not even nervousness would account for such a foul-up. Its lies Kevin...she's lying.

Sorry, don't take it personal, but we are making the same point, so in a sense, it was to me.

Again, do you list the exact year of an old video you saw recently? Think of the MJ hair burning video that resurfaced recently? When recounting to others of your last viewing of it...do you cite the year or do you just site the video and use the language something like "the old footage of...?" She lied about damn near everything.

And about her income...something tells me that her and her hubby are making out like bandits. Through one of the links I believe they discovered he's some sort of Real Estate Investor.

So they're quite well off. Health Care for them...none for the poor and disenfranchized. Selfish ass rightwing bastards.

The war comment is what pissed me off.

Could you be any more full of shit?

You were the one American that didn't have strong feelings about Iraq, one way or the other, and healthcare is what brought you out from under your political rock?

Bullshit.

If her comment is true, she's a moron.

"Oceania was at war with Eastasia: Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia."

From Kay's meetup.com page:

“ Katy, More than your misplaced anger over the noble goal of affordable healthcare for all Americans, what I find most disturbing is your ambivalence over the senseless deaths of thousand of Americans (and Iraqis) and the trillions wasted on the unnecessary war. Where was your anger then? Motley Crue said it best: "Girl, don't go away mad. Girl, just go away." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RI4SzE...
I hope you do a little more research and self-reflection before your next TV appearance. ”

“ What a genius! Paying for insurance that allows you to pay for your own medical expenses up to 5k. May you become one of the lucky folks reaches the 5k deductible only find out that the good ole' insurance company won't pay for your child's medical expenses due to some provision that you were too dim to know about or anticipate. It is very much legal for them to deny payment for some obscure provision, you know. ”

“ Man, O'Donnell made you look like fool that you are. You don't even know what socialism is, dummy. You had some priceless lines, like "this is not what the Constitution wrote". I'd have to agree with you there, because I'm not aware that the Constitution wrote anything. You have sh!tty expensive insurance; $500/month and it doesn't pay a dine until you hit a $5000 deductible. You are a fool Katy. First we had Jow The Plumber, now we have Kate The Dumber.

HA-HA ”
—Cincy Capell (Aug 13, 2009 4:20 AM)

“ Congrats! You've just become a target of the media when you spouted inanity like, "I want to restore this country to what it was under the Constitution." Awesome, cause that means you wouldn't be able to vote. You could go buy a slave to help with the housework, though. ”
