No need for war in Sudan. Read this and get educated Bully.....

Sudan removed from US list of terror states, Libya still on

The situation is not perfect, but the Sudanese are cooperating enough that we don't need to go to war. We only have to go to war where there is NO cooperation.

DOH!

But Bullypulpit was sayin that the only time Bush will intervene is where there is gads of Oil.

Like Liberia! SO MUCH OIL!

Or Afghanistan for that matter.

Well except for that imaginary pipeline that, any day now, will materialize across the lawless landscape and pump gas from Russia to Pakistan while so some unspecified US company can reap the rewards of ... supplying it?

Some say actually it will run through Iran/Iraq/Jordan/Syria to Isreal.

Which seems like a huge money maker considering how much oil Isreal needs and how easy and cheap this is compared to shipping via tanker. (MAJOR SARCASM)

Anyway, where IS that pipeline today?

I should be asking Bullypulpit that question.

Actually, if Mr. Personality had been the Prez, 9/11 would probably not have happened.

Dubbyuh's administration was negotiating with the Taliban for the right to build an oil and gas pipeline from northern Afghanistan to a seaport in Pakistan to transport resources from Caspian Sea oilfields.

When the Taliban balked, the US negotiator told them,"...Your highways can be paved with gold or with bombs..." This removed any incentive the Taliban might of had for turning bin Laden over to the US.

The arrogance of the Administration seems to have been the spark that ignited the conflagration.

WHERE'S THE PIPELINE???

Out of curiousity, I went to a couple of the sites to see what they said and believe it or not Mr. Bully, your HERO Clinton, according to the links you provided, is the one that started the talks in 1998!

So there goes your Bush conspiracy.

"Build a pipeline or were going to attack you!"

Sure.

The arrogance of the Administration seems to have been the spark that ignited the conflagration.

Right. Because up to that point the terrorist's presence in our country, training to fly airplanes, was completely benign in nature.

The Soviets had a term for Westerners who would find any reason to excuse the Communists for whatever they did. Today the terrorists have their own useful idiots.

Interestingly, they tend to be the same people. I wonder why that is.

In my year overseas with a Soviet exchange program I used to play a card game they called "Durak", with rules similar to "President, Asshole" as we Americans know it.

Durak, The Fool.

If it's not there yet, it's because Bush looted the Afghanistan war budget and manpower to start his sexy vendetta war in Iraq, leaving Afghanistan too unstable to allow construction to proceed.

And Pat Tillman might be alive today.

And many other Americans dead as well.

A very short article.

A tri-lateral treaty to develop the pipeline w/o a U.S. signature.

No particular U.S. financial backer, not one assured oil company name in there.

Also no pipeline, then or today.

Still asking, WHERE'S THE PIPELINE???
