Does democracy propaganda feel superficial?

What's the difference between 'task-master democracy' (e.g., Jacksonian Democracy) and subliminal socialism advertising (e.g., The Game)?

This anti-socialism 'speculation' yarn was inspired by Se7en and Bulworth.

It's meant to ask the question, "Does democracy defense feel like a carousel of trophies?"

Americans gathered for the Democratic National Convention (DNC), hoping to oust the capitalism-baron celebrity-president Donald Trump who was running for a second term. A sociopath was also present at the DNC. His name was John Doe. He was being pursued by an idealistic FBI detective named Frank Cady. Cady knew Doe might try to assassinate someone at the DNC. Cady also knew Doe was a Satanist and possibly also a cannibal.

As Cady recognized Doe wearing a fancy hat and large coat at the DNC, he ran towards him and demanded they talk. Doe was shocked, thinking he arrived at the DNC undetected and ready to 'participate.' Doe demanded Cady take him somewhere private the next day so they could 'chat.' Cady agreed to take him to an idyllic cemetery not far from the site of the DNC. That's where the two chatted about democracy, America, crime, Christianity, and capitalism.

CADY: Why did you choose to target politicians, John?
DOE: I wanted to embrace the 'magic' of chaos.
CADY: I suppose you think you're some kind of 'prophet.'
DOE: We're all prophets, detective; I'm merely composing something.
CADY: Well, what're you composing?
DOE: A thesis...
CADY: May I know the 'premise' of your thesis?
DOE: Capitalism creates Christian vices.
CADY: Are you referring to the Se7en Deadly Sins?
DOE: Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath, Greed, and Envy.
CADY: What's the worst sin on the list to you, John?
DOE: It's envy of course...
CADY: And you believe capitalism/America/TrumpUSA creates 'unnatural envy.'
DOE: Don't you?
CADY: No one thinks civilization is 'above sin,' but how we mediate is important.
DOE: So you think I'm a basic terrorist/sociopath...
CADY: You mean to convince me that anti-democratic sentiments can be...hygienic?
DOE: Use a toothbrush to clean your car (tedious)! Christian patience towards USA is likewise.
CADY: I'm concluding you're a 'messenger' of GNC, John; we'll put you in an insane-asylum.

After this somewhat unnerving conversation with the sociopathic John Doe, FBI detective/agent Cady concluded that Doe was a pure 'anti-American' who believed the DNC was deserving of some great 'gesture' of terrorism. Cady realized Doe's message was one of 'inspired socialism' in the face of capitalism's confounding claustrophobia (e.g., Wall Street congestion). However, he also knew Doe's 'brand' of socialism was one of 'internment camps' and 'forced obedience' to a higher ideal of 'simple virtue.' Doe simply thought American democracy/capitalism could not foster real social coordination, because consumerism was so darn 'self-serving' (e.g., Burger King, eBay, Facebook, etc., etc.). Doe was given a group of female beach-dolls to groom at his insane-asylum and encouraged to write patriotic (and therapeutic) essays about why the dolls might symbolize U.S. First Lady Melania Trump.

"Grooming my little 'beach-lady dolls' at Arkham Asylum here in D.C. makes me realize that regardless of whether or not you're a cop or an accused criminal, you'll meditate on the 'simple charms' of re-presenting humans as 'diplomats' or 'muses' of valued social values such as Christian temperance. My psychiatrist believes entreating my patriotic sentiment that the dolls could symbolize First Lady Melania Trump could 'bring out' my natural motivation to associate federalism/authority with private respect and hence citizenship. I hope this strange little 'doll-exercise' does indeed create in me the sincere feeling that discounting the doomsday-notion that TrumpUSA caters only to the Se7en Deadly Sins (Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath, Greed, and Envy) is a worthwhile 'calamari illusion/daydream.' Only time will tell..." ---John Doe [Arkham Asylum Notes --- Autumn 2018]
