At best, the only thing for sure the US will get out of scraping the Iran deal is about 15 to 20 cents higher gas prices. If things really fall apart, Iranian nuclear material will end up in the hands of terrorist all over middle east.

Did sanctions keep them from developing a nuclear capability?

How is it going to look to North Korea for the US to renege on the a nuclear agreement with Iran when they met the terms of the agreement. Granted they did a lot of bad shit, but they fulfilled their end of agreement.

When Trump sits down with Kim Jong-Un to negotiate a nuclear deal, why should Kim believe any agreement they come up with will be honored by the next president.

Republicans had been trying to negotiate with Iran for 35 years and they failed but Obama was successful. It was a major foreign policy victory and making things even worst for republicans Iran lived up to the terms of the agreement.

Clearly, walking out on the Iran nuclear deal was Trump fulfilling a campaign promise and republicans getting back at Obama, a new low in American politics and a dangerous precedent.
