Scientists Create Human Embryo Without Egg or Sperm Raising Hopes For Humanity

There are no, "you people," here.

We all want the same thing. Survival.

Folks that are running things? Have some different plans, stop playing into the "divide and rule," game they roll out.
Stop being ridiculous.

You people have destroyed the GOP.

brain dead hood rats do so why not
why do you waste your time and bandwidth?

Then why do leftists want to restrict the us of peaceful nuclear power? Why does the left want us in the DARK Ages?
Do you REALLY understand the risks?
Do you know what happened at Chernobyl?

Nuclear power can be safe but not in the hands of corporations whose only concern is their bottom line.

Fukushima as an example. Storing expended fuel rods on top of the reactor containment in an earthquake zone? An impending disaster but necessary rather than spending money on proper processing and storage.

I am a Navy Nuke. I worked at plants in several states and I will tell you I wouldn't go within 50 miles of a plant without the existence of the NRC.

As for "left" opposing nuclear power, this thread is responding to a "righty" who opposes nuclear power. There are nuts and loons on both sides but both sides need to be concerned over allowing commercial use of nuclear power without strict safety regulation.

the earliest stages of human life. Your use of life implies a human being and not a fetus.

reading and comprehension issues? "development" the process of an embryo developing into what eventually will become a living baby

and "The team allowed the embryos to develop for 14 days, which is the legal cut-off for embryo research as organs like the brain begin to develop after." However, the success of this synthetic embryo model may prompt a reconsideration of this rule, as it could provide valuable insights into early human development.

This synthetic embryo model is intended to provide a better understanding of how developmental disorders and birth defects occur during the first 14 days after fertilization.

Co-author of the study, Professor Jacob Hanna, explains that the knowledge of this crucial period is limited and often referred to as a "black box."

This lack of understanding can lead to developmental disorders and miscarriage. Therefore, scientists around the world are racing to develop new ways to study this early stage of human development.

and it's referred to as an embryo, not a human being. and we're talking about human development, not living, breathing, live babies. It's feta//embryonic research
why havent you bought a dictionary yet??

a fetus in a human is a human,,

Scientists Create Human Embryo Without Egg or Sperm Raising Hopes For Humanity - at least that's how I see it.

Science! The philosophers and busybodies need to get out of the way.

Technologies can have both positive and negative impacts or consequences. Here are pros and cons of using stem cells...

Pros:
1. Potential to treat a wide range of diseases: Stem cells have the potential to treat a variety of diseases and medical conditions that were previously thought to be untreatable.

2. Regenerative properties: Stem cells can regenerate and repair damaged tissues, organs and bones.

3. Reduces the risk of transplant rejection: Stem cells from the patient can be used for treatment, which reduces the risk of rejection.

4. Prolongs life expectancy: Stem cells can help prolong life expectancy by treating diseases that were previously untreatable.

5. Provides insight into how the body develops: Stem cells can provide insight into how the body develops, giving scientists a greater understanding of human biology and disease.

Cons:
1. Ethical concerns: Embryonic stem cells are controversial as they require the destruction of an embryo.

2. Risk of tumor formation: Stem cells can lead to the formation of tumors in some cases.

3. High cost: Stem cell treatments can be expensive and may not be covered by insurance.

4. Unknown long-term effects: The long-term effects of stem cell treatments are not yet fully understood.

5. Difficulty in controlling differentiation: It can be challenging to control the differentiation of stem cells, meaning that they may not always differentiate into the desired cell type.

Your positives outweigh your negatives.

Until someone you love benefits from this research, one day.
Medical is a business now. The warnings around for decades. The costs rising to keep people alive. Research has to eliminate most diseases whether for any reason. And we are still infants at that endeavor although we know how stymie some from discipline in our personal lives.
