In 2009 Obama was the President and the Democrats had a near super-majority control of all of Congress. They had the opportunity to pass AMNESTY, not just DACA. They chose NOT to.

Instead Barry violated the Constitution, specifically Article 1 Section B, by attempting to effect 'Naturalization', which only the Legislative branch - CONGRESS - has the authority to do.

Hillary Clinton stated at the time these kids crossing the border should be SENT BACK. Schumer openly declared illegal immigration must not be tolerated.

ALL LIES AND VIOLATIONS OF THE US CONSTITUTION AND RULE OF LAW.

Hillary, Barry, Schumer, Democrats did not offer up any such legislation THEN, and they will not do so now. They have never allowed any legislation to go through as a stand-alone piece of legislation. Obama's Stimulus Bill, for example, contained over 7,000 pieces of DNC-only pork. The Harvey Relief Bill contained all kinds of pork and attachments. Schumer may have opened his mouth, but what came out was continued lies. He will never allow a DACA legislation be passed as a stand-alone piece of legislation.

Democrats have never wanted to pass DACA - otherwise, as pointed out, they would have done so in 2009. Instead, after Obama acknowledged he did not have the Constitutional Authority to do so he illegally tried to create his own law through EO.

All it took was Trump inviting them to participate.

Schumer lied. He has leid all along. Schumer does not want a DACA bill to be presented so he can continue to attack the GOP over it. If he wanted a DACA bill / law they would have written one when Obama was President and the democrats controlled the house and Senate. The last thing Schumer wants is a clean DACA bill, and he will never let the GOP to push one because that eliminates his GOP attack and proves only the GOP ever actually ever wanted one and put forth the effort to pass one, as the Democrats preferred to violate the constitution and violate the rule of law.
