Sanders Is Drawing Crowds BIG Crowds

I'm never upset by the arrogant ignorance coming from the contemporary right wing of the Republican Party, but thanks for your concern Armchaos.

The RED SCARE is nothing new, and is no more a threat to our nation today than it was in the 1950's.

In fact the greater threat our nation faces politically comes from the far right, while you were looking under your bed for a communist, the plutocrats and neo fascists obliterated what was once the model for self government, the democratic republic Mr. Franklin said we had if we could keep it.
That was sarcastic, right?
Because personal rights and liberties have been grossly curtailed under Obama and the Democrats.

No my post was factual and honest; your comment lacks substance and is dishonest [two character flaws of many which always frame your posts].

I will post parenthetically (sarcasm!) when I use sarcasm in the future; there are others like you too dumb to read between the lines and too biased to ever consider evidence which suggests the dogma and revised history you hold as absolute truth is false.

Citizen United is now settled law and yet you scream like a child against it and rail on people who criticize roe v wade and ssm. You're a fine example of a hypocrite.

Um, CU's repeal moved our nation much closer to a plutocracy, and oligarchy of the rich and power elite (apples);

Roe and SSM were about rights, restoring rights to citizens, thus a nation of the people, by the people & for the people (oranges).

Rights were taken away from the unborn.

So you support age appropraite sex education in the public schools, including the use of contraceptives which reduce the likelihood of an unwanted pregnancy and the transmission of STD's.

That's good, now how about the CHIPS Program, where Democrats support health insurance from birth to age 18 for certain families to be extended to all parents of children from birth to age 18. Do you support that too?

What about providing a free public education beginning well before K. and extending to at least grades 13 & 14 (prep. for a University degree or a polytechnical curriculum directed to job in the 21st Century)? Do you support this too?

That's what pragmatic people support, those who can't think support the current iteration of the Republican Party, or default to Libertarian fantasy.

So what banner do you fly, the one with a lighted light bulb, or the one with an ostrich?

BTW, abortion has been around as long as prostitution - get over it and work to make unwanted pregnancy a rare occurrence.

Once again, you default to govt induced loving care.....which, in itself, is a fantasy but one that you engage in quite frequently. I have no problem with sex education in schools at age appropriate levels. You can't be arguing that our current free education works. We rank from the middle to the bottom in several categories. That you would be pleased with this degree of mediocrity doesn't surprise me though. Nothing of what you have stated is pragmatic. It's bizarre to actual fact but I guess quite soothing to someone who enjoys digging deep into the cool sand. You should come up for air every now and then to reality.

For profit, is FOR profit and to suggest as you have private schools are better at "loving care" isn't proven. Public schools need to accept every child, not so for the private schools who can and are picky.

There is no doubt the public school system is in need of reform; we should not continue to do the same thing and expect different results. Once again the issue is money, and the need to develop a system fair and effective for the least and most capable, as well as those in the middle, the late bloomers and those who lack parental support.

As for your continued personal attacks I can only offer this in all honesty. I find your comments at best prosaic, and little more than an echo of commonly supposed memes.

No personal attack, just responding to your mosaic of constant condescension.

I'm not a punk, when attacked I hit back!

When a fool posts foolishly in response to my considered comments, you bet I call them foolish - that's not arrogance it's a fact. When a fool posts an echo of propaganda as an original thought, I laugh at them. Of course it's pitiful for someone to do so, and to take themselves so seriously.

You'll notice if you read critically that many of my posts offer opinions, opinions formed by reading, thinking and framed always by personal experience. When someone disabuses me of an idea, policy or an opinion I have, I admit it and rethink. Fools never do, they are oblivious of the theory of holes, and for that I coined the phrase "willfully ignorant"

You'll also notice that the most prolific posters on the right rarely consider panoptic solutions to problems, they mostly echo the same old shit: cut government, cut taxes, cut social services; they also seem to demand their liberty interests be protected but deny the same to others (prop 8 is the classic example).

A lot of what Bernie says makes sense, and I'll guarantee you the amount of people who agree with him is growing.

The GOP had better learn what "democratic socialism" is pretty soon, or it's in for a big surprise.

.

Ive been following him for 20+ years. He is the only candidate that will do for THIS country.

How's that working out?
