Sanctuary City Leaders Should be IMPRISONED

President Trump is being too slow and too lenient with the sanctuary city mayors and county officials who are in violation of federal law.

"Any person who, knowing that an alien has come to the U.S. in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection such alien in any place, including any building… shall be imprisoned not more than 5 years.”
(8 U.S. Code, section 1324)

These sanctuary city leaders are criminal in the worst way. Just to improve their personal political careers (boost Democrat votes), they are imposing a long list of real HARMS upon the people of their jurisdictions. One of these harms (crime) has resulted in loss of life, such as that of Kate Steinle, who was murdered in cold blood, by an illegal alien, on San Francisco's Muni Pier, a common tourist spot. Many others have been killed by illegal aliens, who think very little of US law, which they break by crossing the Mexican border to get here, or overstaying visas.

The law adds a further punishment to those public officials whose sanctuary city policies result in a death of someone. For them LIFE IMPRISONMENT is the penalty. This is what Trump and Sessions should be talking about (AND DOING), not playing games with these irresponsible creeps, by only threatening them with loss of federal funding. In some cases (ex San Francisco), they wouldn't even be in a position to loss any money.

Pols motivation is not necessarily their own reelection, most are concerned for the life, liberty, happiness and property of those who have lived and worked in the US for years, even decades, and these principles:
