Russian police arrest boy for reciting Shakespeare

This case shows how western anti Russian propaganda works.

What was in fact:
A boy was begging which is illegal. It was not his first time. He was warned for several times before. At this time he was taken to police department until his parents come.
Everything was done correctly. Even specialist of children department came.
Some woman who called herself his neighbor tried not to allow policemen do their job. She even used strength and abused them.

I don't understand why that woman was not arrested. In the USA policemen would use shocker to calm her down. But she was not even indicted later.

Here are some photos:

That's why the boy was delivered to police department. He was begging.
Here is his mother:

Do you think she is good mother? Why her son needs to get money at the streets?

And now try to realize how would police or some kind of juvenile department in other countries would react.
Try to recall in your memory cases when adopted children were slaves in the USA...or children were taken away from parents in Scandinavia just basing on suspicions.

See how Russian apologists work.
First take the word of the police; The cops said he was illegally begging so that gave them the right to assault the kid and drag him screaming to a waiting squad car.
The boy's father disputes that his son was begging and local media had already praised the lad for his recitation of Shakespeare in public.
Then blacken the name of the parents by publicizing that the boy's father is not even Russian but Ukrainian who is not registered to live in Moscau.
Furthermore judge the father's partner to be an unfit step-mother by showing Facebook photos of her scantily clad. What, no nudes?
Job done!
The moral: We dare anyone to criticize the Russian police. Try it if you dare.

Shakespeare or Kipling or Pushkin - no matter. Why expressing what he was reciting?
Farther calls himself Ukrainian? And what that should mean? Ukrainians are Russians without any differences at all...in fact there is no such a nation - Ukrainian.
Stepmother and father are supposed to take care and behave their son but they don't. Authorities in most countries pay attention at such things and have rights for certain legal actions.

Police in Russia has many minuses but in this case they did it absolutely right.
And what I know for sure - police in Russia never shots negros just for their skin color.

The moral of your points: whatever happens in Russia - it is bad and wrong.

I am not in the business of passing judgement on the parents of children based on one wearing a bikini on Facebook. I witnessed the police assaulting a nine year-old boy and then kidnapping him which is an abuse of police power.

I say , who cares !! Russia like 'germany' doesn't have Free Speech so looks like the kid may have been breaking Russian law I guess . Put a 10 year old on some street corner in Germany dressed as 'hitler' and reading 'mein kampf ' out loud and see what happens to him Eloy !!
What's in Shakespeare's Hamlet to distress anyone, Pismoe?

---------------------------------- which is WHY you will fall for most anything , you sound like you are pretty naive . Anyway , seem to me that the kid was begging and maybe drawing attention to the main money maker his 'mother' Eloy !!

--------------------------------------------------- if you read the whole thread you would see that ' I ' SUSPECT the kid of begging or busking or maybe a pimp for his mother . Busking is just a round about way of saying BEGGING as far as i am concerned . Anyway , i guess / suspect that this kid was known by police and was taken into protective custody OldLady .

and then again , Russia doesn't have FREE SPEECH same as 'germany' doesn't have FREE SPEECH so the kid was arrested because he MAY have been breaking some Russian law , speech law or code OldLady .

You witnessed violation of the law by a child and good job of police to prevent it.
If one follows your logic police has no right to arrest a child even if he is killing someone or steals something.

If in your country it is allowed for children to beg for money than you have bad laws.

Nothing is forbidden to recite in Russia and of course Shakespear is not forbidden.
Last year my 13 years old son read Hamlet and Romeo and Juliette in school as it was compulsory books for their literature program.

---------------------------------------------------------------- the Shakespere is just silliness , cops didn't do anything because the kid was reciting Shakespere . Kid might have been reciting Shakespere but thats not WHY he was taken into custody . IMO the kid was taken into custody because he was begging or busking or pimping or acting as an attraction for his 'mother' Eugene . imo !! --------------- course i don't know the WHY of why the kid was arrested anymore than anyone else that wasn't there like Eloy .

There are special jails for criminal teenagers.
Everything is done in another way but still a rest is possible...maybe it is called in other words.
In Russia children are not forbidden to be on streets either, don't try to play with words - I will lose this game or let's switch to Russian language.

A child can be held criminally liable for any offence committed from the age of 16. A person aged 14 or older can be held criminally liable for a number of offences specifically listed in Article 20(2) of the Criminal Code. [Criminal Code, Article 20(1) and (2)]

Yes, it is quite possible and there is no any problems with public criticism of Putin! And it is often done.

And I disagree with many things in internal policy. But still he is doing much much better than Yeltsin and Gorbachev before him who were so loved by West for stealing and ruining the USSR and Russia...real traitors who must be judged.

As for Pussy Riot - they were prosecuted not for Putin's criticism but for vandalism and people's abusing when they organized their shitty noise (they call it music) in the church. They had alike provocative actions in public places before not connected to policy but to nationalism...
They are nothing...zero...empty stupid human beings but western propaganda created a political victim out of them.

A child of any age may be taken to police department in some certain cases. Suspicion of homeless is one of those legal reasons.
Police in that case must inform his parents. Exactly what was done in the discussed case.
