Last night on Newshour, there was a clip from Raqqa. It said the US has dropped more bombs there than in all of the Vietnam War. It also said the only people currently pushing out the remnants of ISIS in that city are the YPG, miserably under supplied, and US airstrikes. I thought the Syrian Army was doing the majority of the fighting. Why aren't they in Raqqa? Will they not fight with the US and YPG (I may have those letters mixed up a bit).
