Ron Paul Raises $3.3 Million In February

Goddam shame when a loser can get wealthy from our election process

'Course as long as Republicans can get elected by saying they support the working class...........................Grits ain't gravy, Eggs ain't poultry, And Mona Lisa was a man

You do realize that that money doesn't go to Ron Paul personally, right?

No he doesn't. He's an idiot.

Isn't that obvious?

He's likening campaign contributions to some event in Iraq with a defense contractor and some missing money.

Why even bother responding?

The mandate banning the use of campaign contributions for personal use only applies to candidates' primary campaign committee and their connected leadership political action committee. Any other political action committee can spend their donations on whatever they wish.

Guess where it ends up

Do you have even a shred of proof of your accusation? That would still be illegal, BTW. Politicians aren't allowed to accept "gifts" from anyone over a certain amount.

Unless the law has changed, politicians keep their warchest money when they retire from politics.

John Edwards broke the law because he used political donations as a payoff to his whore on the side. Also, he wasn't a retired politician.

There is no refund of money to political backers when Ron Paul finally goes back to Texas for good. He will stick that money in his piggy bank and use it to win his little district in Texas and whatever is left when he is done....is his money.

Oh yeah.....Ron Paul in 4th place is going to win. :cuckoo:

But Ron Paul doesn't mind the money you gave HIM that he will keep.....

I didn't say Ron Paul was going to win, and you're going to need some evidence that Ron Paul is keeping the donations to his campaign. Then I suggest you forward that evidence to the FEC since that would be illegal.

He's not running for re-election to the House, and the money being used for political purposes is not the same as "lining his pockets."

Cleatus.....

Ron Paul's POTUS wet dream fund will be used winning his Texas district again, and again and again.

He is not going to win the GOP POTUS position, so it is a waste of money supporting him. You are better off betting on the Kentucky Derby runner up with your money than giving it to Ron Paul.

Well this at least confirms that you have no reading comprehension.

Ok, he claims he won't run again and you beieve him.

He also claims he is going to win the GOP race and you believe him.

The FEC believes him too, considering they have his seat listed as "Open." Oh, and you still display your complete lack of reading comprehension.

We shall see, but my other point is true....it is a waste of money supporting Ron Paul.

It is also a waste of money supporting the Newt.

Santorum is sneaking up on Romney but still a waste of money in my mind.

I wouldn't be commenting on someone's IQ given you support Ron Paul. You are seen as a kook.....

"Waste of money" is a subjective notion. I didn't see it as a waste of money when I donated to Ron Paul in 2008, and I don't see it as a waste of money in 2012.

And I didn't comment on your IQ, I commented on your reading comprehension. You mixing up the two just goes to prove my point.

Thanks for proving you're an idiot and a kook after donating to Ron Paul twice. :clap2:

Giving your money to Ron Paul was like Obamination giving taxpayer money to Solyndra, but at least you could've prevented Ron Paul from getting your money.....idiot.

Yeah, I wouldn't go around calling people "kooks" or "idiots" given the level of intelligence you've demonstrated in this thread.

Oh yeah, not catching some obscure law that NOW prevents people like Ron Paul from cashing out with YOUR money is equal to supporting an idiot like Ron Paul that blamed 9/11 on us, believes Iran getting nukes is no big deal, bringing back to the troops to spend their money here will fix our economy, leaving holes around the world with a military pullout will somehow make the world safer, etc, etc, etc.

I equate you Ron Paul kooks on the same level of stupidity as the liberals here. Both of you are fucked up in the head, it's just that you don't like paying higher taxes like they do.

There are some intelligent liberals on this board, so what do I care if you equate me with them?
