Ron Paul: Cut Off All Foreign Aid To Egypt,And All The Rest...

I think the President made a big mistake siding with the Protesters. I thought he was handling it just right before he came out and took sides.

RP has always been against foreign aid. He is just using the egypt problems as a boost for his rhetoric.

I agree-I don't think he should have done it. But, I think why he did it was the protesters will eventually get somebody new in office, and he wanted to side with them (loosely mind you-he's not going to be hands on in the situation), because of the Suez Canal. Whoever controls the Suez Canal, and whether they allow boats to come here from there does have a big impact on our economy.

Yea he was handling it just right before he was advised to pick a side. Now some in his Administration are even saying that it's ok for radical groups like The Muslim Brotherhood to be involved in any new Egyptian Government. These are very bad decisions being made by this President on this issue. He was not advised well on this one.

You're gonna be "Evil America" either way in these Hellholes. You will be the "Evil Imperialists" no matter which side you choose. That's why aggressive Foreign Interventionism doesn't work in the end. I saw an Egyptian idiot holding a sign that read 'We hate your Hypocrisy America." This meaning they were angry we weren't supporting the uprising enough. Damned if you do,damned if you don't. That's where aggressive Foreign Interventionism always takes us. Our Foreign Policy has been a Lose/Lose for so many years. It's time for a revolutionary change. Non-Interventionism is the logical way forward for our nation. Now we just need our politicians to wake up and figure this out.

Don't ya love Ron Paul?

Everything is so simplistic

Yup. And your guy should have listened to the good Doctor. He had it right when he wasn't taking sides. Taking the side of the protesters was a big mistake. Someday more politicians will figure it out though. This is why i always say there are very few differeces between Neocons & Socialists. They both take you to the same place in the end. Aggressive Foreign Interventionism will always be a Lose/Lose for us.

There is an old saying in politics. Whether you agree or not, the voter is always right

The same goes here. It is the peoples country, not Mubaraks......and the people are always right

Your guy really did have it right when he wasn't choosing sides. Unfortunately he got pressured into picking a side. He should have held firm. Now it's just more of the same ole same ole. That's too bad.

My prediction is that the Radical Islamists will be the ones who benefit most from these uprisings in both Egypt & Tunisia. Call me crazy but that's my take. "Freedom & Democracy?" I'll believe it when i see it.

Mubaraks position is now untennable. His only "side" is out the door

Supporting an unpopular dictator, just because he supported our policies did not work in Cuba or Iran.....it won't work here either

So when "The People" put in people like Mao, Stalin and Castro. They were right to do so?

Don't get me wrong, Mabur is a dictator, and not the good kind. He was, and maybe is, the lesser of the evils over there.

Best idea; Keep out pie holes shut and keep our money here.
