Ron Paul and Romney Going Head to Head Here on Out

No, wrong, even though I explained it already, read the constitution. One must be born on American soil to TWO LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS to be "natural born," and ONLY natural born citizens can be president of the United States.

The Constitution does NOT define the term.

Well, yes it does, so here's some "Natural Born Citizen for Dummies" for ya. Maybe you'll learn something...

At 2.40 you're own vid states the Constitution does not define the term.
The rest of it is what I would term "propaganda" and what the vid calls "propoganda".

The only thing Paul does is mark how much of the Republican Party hasn't come around to Romney and about half of those never will.

So if Paul gets 30% of the vote that remains, Romney is probably in trouble.

But Romney has to treat Paul gingerly, because he doesn't want the guy running for the America Elects or Libertarian nominations.

I like Rubio too, and he can be VP. But he's got constitutional problems when it comes to being president. He's not a "natural born citizen." He's a "native born citizen," so legally, according to our constitution, he can't be president. Unless now Washington has set precedent with obama and they're just going to look the other way and fuck the constitution, which might very well be why republicans look the other way with obama. They have their own illegal president aspirations coming up. They looked the other way for obama, so they'll expect dems to look the other way for Rubio, or Jindal, or whoever.

He was born in this country, right? That makes him a native born citizen. It is no issue at all.
I dont think he'd be a great choice, but that's irrelevant.

Your wrong Pale Rider. Art II Sect 1 Cl 5 states the President must be a natural born Citizen. It has been interpretted by multiple cases that being born in the US even to foreign parents still falls with naturally born. See United States v. Wong Kim Ark, Lynch v. Clarke and Perkins v. Elg. I personally disagree with the law. I think the 14th amendment is getting bastardized to provide citizenship to people when it shouldn't, but it's been used to determine, being born on American soil makes you a naturally born citizen!

Whitman is a horrible candidate...I was in Cali when she ran for Guv and she was a total train wreck.

A media slandering her and media in the back for liberal choice and she still made it close! I would say she is a great choice!
Whitman was a train wreck even if she had received more favorable media coverage.

Her and Carly Fiorina were two of the most incompetent candidates I've seen this side of Juan McLouse.

Why Oddball never thought you would be one to succumb to the CA liberal media bias. The story that sunk her was the PROVEN FALSE story about the supposed illegal house-keeper that Whitman took as prisoner. The CA media solely concentrated on this attack, presented it and undisputable truth and NEVER tried to refute any of it.

She would be a picture perfect VP. Strong businessperson, Washington outsider and a person who know business big and small!

You're kidding yourself if you think anyone who chairs a huge corporate board, or is a CEO of a huge corporation, is a Washington outsider.

The corporate world lives or dies by what happens in Washington.

I was in California during the campaign....Both Whitman and Fiorina were complete incompetent ninny candidates......Period.

Hell, even John and Ken couldn't defend those two mental midgets, and they both detest Brown and Boxer.

I hope Paul takes his base and runs third party, in fact I'd be a little upset if he didnt.

I don't think it's a good idea. He won't win, so the best he'll do is be another story like Perot was, that everyone forgets about soon enough. And all the hard work everyone all over the country has done to get into the GOP and try and change it from the bottom-up, will be in vain. The whole point of doing all this was to be the change we wanted to see, and now we've gotten placement in several states in GOP brass spots, as well as in MANY localities.

Let's see what the new GOP evolves into now after all this work that was put it.

I don't think that matters so much. Even if he hangs with the Republicans, even if his supporters continue their effort to transform the party, most of them still won't vote for Romney. To do so would undermine all the work we've invested in change - essentially endorsing the opposite. If the intent is seriously to steer the party away from corporatists like Romney we can give him, or candidates like him, our vote.

It would certainly put PAID to any notion he and his loony followers were ever really part of the GOP.
But he's already announced that won't happen. I guess you'll have to deal with political obscurity.

Paul is the only one that attracts the demographics that the GOP is severely lacking in.

The GOP may very well owe Paul a huge debt down the road when all these young people all over the country who've entered the GOP and worked into the system have their say in changing platforms into something that more than just retired white people can support.

I didnt realize the GOP was lacking in wookie-suiters. Personally Im happy to cede that demographic to the Dems.

When Romney loses every demographic to Obama in November except white men on viagra, you're going to be begging for wookie suiters...and a new catch phrase.

I'd rather see Paul pull 5% in the GE than hope that the GOP shifts back from uber liberal to something conservative. Mitt, Mitt Romney is the guy they got... You don't get much more liberal than that, even as Democratic Governors go.

If the GOP is going to lose in this GE at least put some fear in them that they are dying and better start electing conservatives again.

The Republican party just like the Democratic party is an umbrella. The Republicans have enjoyed having the 10% or so of libertarian voters go their way for a long time. But get all buyt6thurt just because the Republican party has shifted so far left that the groups that make it up start to shed off.

The GOP is not the borg you twat...

And now you understand why I would like Paul to run third party... The Reps use conservatives, the party is very liberal.

So you want Obama to win. Got it.
