"Anything we could disclose, of course, we couldn't destroy that. Anything that had a legal or contractual requirement to be confidential … they were just destroyed,"

Asked about Romney's personal papers, such as correspondence, emails, and appointment calendars, Bullock said he did not think it was likely they were saved.

"Basically we could not field his questions," Jones said. "It was embarrassing."

Mitt Romney Olympic Archive Still Off-Limits - ABC News

The missing or removed documents have been an issue for the University as journalists have been contacting. You’ll recall that, recently, the Obama campaign has claimed inconsistencies in Romney’s given timeline at Bain Capital, which he said he left in order to oversee the Salt Lake City games.

Mitt Romney’s Archival Olympic Records Remain Off-Limits, You people getting all you are going to get

Romney has campaigned on his "skill" as a businessman. Secrecy, outsourcing, lying, and more secrecy. Obama had to petition the state of Hawaii to bypass their state law to provide his birth certificate and still the right wing insists he's a "Muslim" and "not an American". But Mitt? Says he was at Bain except when he says he wasn't. Received untold hundreds of millions in taxpayer money to "save" the Olympics. And who owns all that stuff taxpayer money paid for? Mitt's friends? Taxpayers don't. We know that. So this is a Romney presidency? Just take the country for everything it's worth, move it "offshore" and walk away from a "shell"?

Romney makes Nixon look like an "open book".

    K..

Let's see if we got this straight.

    Governor? Destroyed records.
    Olympic Chairman? Destroyed records.
    CEO? None of your business.
    Personal Taxes? 2 years.

So there's absolutely no way to check this guy..you have to take his word for everything..

Unless you go to the video tape!

But here's the thing..he's not a "monster" or atypical.

Chris Matthews wanted Obama to debate either Santorum or Gingrich to illustrate the stark difference in America. But I think..that Romney is a better candidate for that.

For the last couple of years, Romney's been effectively "unemployed". He jokes about it too. Yet he still draws more of an income then say..1,000 to 2,000 Americans..combined. And that's just from what we know. The last 2 tax returns got him in hot water because of the Swiss Bank accounts, Cayman Island accounts and shell corporations. He's hiding money..and legally. And the fact that it's legal is a travesty. Add in..he pays a tax rate less then a person who busts their hump carrying bricks..or working in a coal mine.

Romney..like his father before him.."gifted" his son with a vast amount of money to help him make his way. That's the sort of thing that's not available to every family..and it provides a mechanism for social mobility. And what Romney wants to do is get rid of all the mechanisms for social mobility available to people less fortunate.

All the factors make for a very stark difference in the direction of this country.

Do we want top down? Or bottom up?

Affordable Health Care Act Passed = Largest tax increase in history passed with partisan vote paying off the corn huskers.
    Lilly Ledbetter Law Passed
Pirates Holding American Ship Killed = Liberals now embrace killing
Osama Bin Laden Killed = Liberals now embrace killing
No Significant Terrorist Attacks Against the Homeland
Record Number of Illegal Aliens Deported
    Auto Industry Saved
Over 4 Million Jobs Created = 8 percent unemployment the government does not create jobs regardless of what Obama tells us.
BP Made to Pay for Oil Spill Saving Tax Payers Billions= The Spill, The Scandal and the President | Politics News | Rolling Stone BP paying would have happened under any president, you won't but you need to read the linked article.
Frank/Dodd Passed = That was success, really?
Multiple Tax Cuts for Middle Class and Small Business
Unemployment Consistently Going Down = really? 8.2 last month, that went up.
Ended Iraq War = On the time table set up by GWB. I thought the deficit would have gone away with the end of the war, after all wasn't that the excuse that the liberal left gave for the debt for 8 years?
Stabilized Afghanistan = Coalition Death Toll in Afghanistan Rises After Three More Slayings KGO 810 San Francisco
Don't Ask Don't Tell Repealed = Big flippin deal

Now, if you think that is a lot of accomplishments I guess that blows out of the water the lie by the left that the Republicans have stopped everything. You also forgot to list the 4 trillion of debt put on our grandchildren, there is no escaping that.

    Well Steph..you do.

But it seems that the other Campaign keeps muddying the waters about the accomplishments. So..attack ads are in order.
