Romney edging past Obama

Are Republicans really naive enough to think that they can make war on women, Hispanics, blacks, alternate life styles, the poor, suppress voting rights, give massive tax breaks to robber barons while eliminating safety nets for the middle class and get absolutely no resistance?

Resume bashing Ann Romney, you bigot asswipe.

Let's talk about Michelle Obama's ski trip!

How many times in the last month or two have we seen threads stating this very thing....?

How many times must Romney "edge" ahead of Obama?

Just once is all it will take.

Funny how that doesn't seem to be true.

It is. If Romney edges ahead on Tues Nov 6 that's all he needs to do.

But he wont edge ahead. He will soar ahead. He will bound ahead. Because by that time an already crappy economy will be truly i the shitter and people will have had enough of the boy-incompetent and be ready to put the adults back in charge. Romney has more experience now than Obama.

While Obama's lead in the national polls is on the uptick, only novices look to those numbers. People who understand how we elect a president are watching the state polls where Obama has a solid lead. Romney is losing ground in North Carolina (a must win), Obama is losing ground but still ahead in Virginia and Florida (must wins for Romney) and Michigan, Penn., Wisc., Ohio, are holding steady with safe margins for Obama.

a realistic, unbiased assessment is that Romney needs a game-changer - pretty quickly.

Not really. He is not even the nominee yet. The economy continues to deteriorate and Obama's policies become less popular every day. It is Obama who is losing ground. His poll numbers are terrible for a sitting president.

This is what tickles me the most; nationwide polling.

The fact of the matter is that WI, MI, and PA are not going to break for Romney. WI is dominated by suburban Chicago. Obama win. MI is the home of the Auto Industry that the Governor wanted to let die. Obama win. Pennsylvania hasn't gone Republican since 1984. Obama win.

Most people believe that the Bain attacks are just lies. Which they are.

Even if they were true (which they are not); what has Obama done for the economy? The reality is, his lies are designed to take the focus away from his own failure. The dude doesn't even hold jobs meetings any more.

It's a slow steady upward creep...........

And it's happening even as critics moan that Romney should be doing this, that, more, whatever.

He is gaining as of this date by simply standing still and watching the O slowly slide into the cesspool of failures that are no one's fault but his own.

Recent polls show PA dropping to +4 from +7. OH is now only +2 for O. MI after a strong lead for O now shows a tie. The O is scrambling to start advertising there.

Another poll shows Among Uncommitted Voters, Obama Job Approval Is At 29% and stats show that at election time the uncommitteds vote overwhelmingly for the challenger.

And time marches on...........................!
