Romney and GOP in Panic After Unemployment drops to 7.8%

That's funny.....
Like we're going to panic because of a small drop like this, when we know it's going to be adjusted and right back up there JUST BEFORE THE ELECTIONS.

No...we're not worried dear. But if it makes you feel better...just keep think it :)

We know nothing. What we do know is any advantage that Mitt got on Wednesday night has been erased. Back to square one Mittster. The Moderate Mitt did not work. Let's try moving more to the right now.:clap2:

:DNo...definately not erased. Not useing false figures. Go hide Ubama.

Romney and GOP in Panic After Unemployment drops to 7.8%

7.8% unemployment is ... good? And it only took him 4 years to get us there. What a clown you are ... :laugh2:

Bush doubled his unemployment rate

Why do we want a Republican as President again?
Twice Bush's rate is 1/3 of Obama's.

Failed so badly even you can taste it.

I'm sure you were screaming the loudest when Bush had 5% and lamenting how the country was doomed...

Now, a phoney 7.8% when it is really closer to 16%, and all you can do is lie.

That "crappy" number was a result of George W. Bush policies..and their administration misrepresenting the gravity of the crisis.

It's now turned around. And with numbers BETTER then George W. Bush's.

BuSH!!!!!!!!!!!! you guys are so pathetic. We would have been out of this recession years ago if it wasn't for this President.

Yet, people do blame Bush for the recession. The recession did start under Bush.

You can complain about "blaming Bush" all you want, but the truth is the truth!

:eusa_clap:The truth is the truth. And so is the last 4 lousy years of Ubama.

I try and keep my eyes and ears open looking for the truth and lies from both sides. Does seem a bit coincidental that we "seem" to have this drop %% so close to November. Why could it not have came earlier. I mean really, it's been 4 years. I just want to know.

Bush was given an unemployment rate of 4.2%.....left one at 7.8%
Bush was given a stock market at 10,750......left one at 8,150
Bush was given a job market making 200,000 jobs a month.....left one LOSING 770,000 jobs a month
Bush was given an economy with unprecedented GDP growth....left with five quarters of NEGATIVE growth
Bush was given a Budget Surplus......left a trillion dollar deficit

Why do we want a Republican economy again?

This fake drop in umemployment doesn't have me in a panic. What it tells me is that the libs are so panicked after romney's awesome debate that they had to cook the numbers to bring focus back to Obama.

I'm not buying it and people with brains aren't buying it either.

If you look at this graph at the link...it shows Bush's unemployment in 2001 just above 4%. It went up the first 3 yrs, because of 911, the wars...etc. The came back down to below 5% again in 2006...until the Dems took over congress in 2007 then STEADILY went up from there. THEN started coming back down AFTER the Republicans took Congress back.

Huh....whoda thunk?

Since when is 7.8 something to celebrate?

When it has dropped from 10.2%

Now when Bush saw his unemployment rate rise from 4.2% to 7.8%, THAT was no reason to celebrate

I guess it is just a matter of perspective

7.8% is good news for the country

All real Americans should be happy

Why should Americans rejoice at a lower participation rate.

So democrats can make false claims....???

IE......................LYING THROUGH IMPLYING

114,000 new jobs in addition to the recently adjusted numbers for July and August

Good news for America/Bad news for those rooting for the economy to fail

114,000 jobs is pretty pathetic....
Happy for people to be going back to work but this number is not impressive at all.

I just posted a link above showing this in a graph.....
Notice how Bush brought the UE back down in 2006, the it went back up during the Dem congress, then started back down again after the Republicans took over? Lol!

So, Jan. of 2009 @ 7.8% (BLS methodology) to Sept. 2012 7.8% (BLS methodology)

In 3 years and 8 months the president managed to achieve.....nothing in unemployment numbers.

If we give him for more years based on the track record, we might get to 7.8% 3 years and 8 months from re-election. Give yourselves a pat on the back, LOLberals.

Actually Bush inherited a Republican economy. Double check to see who was writing and passing the budgets the last six years of the Clinton presidency. Bush, however, was stuck with a RINO Congress and didn't exert suficient leadership to keep it in check. I am not excusing their excesses, however, or pretending they were okay. Never have.

Nor am I enough of an ideologue or partisan to try to defend a really bad President by pointing to another one.
