Big picture is that it is a huge drop. Unemployment was at 10% in October of 2009. That's before the stimulus was implemented and Obama's policies took effect.

His numbers..in this regard..are better then George W. Bush's.

Because more people gave up looking for work the "official" unemployment numbers dropped. By that logic, if Obama can get another 10 million people so discouraged that they give up looking for a job and instead start collecting welfare, unemployment and food stamps, he'll have 6% unemployment!!
