“This is not what a real recovery looks like. We created fewer jobs in September than in August, and fewer jobs in August than in July, and we’ve lost over 600,000 manufacturing jobs since President Obama took office. If not for all the people who have simply dropped out of the labor force, the real unemployment rate would be closer to 11%. The results of President Obama's failed policies are staggering – 23 million Americans struggling for work, nearly one in six living in poverty and 47 million people dependent on food stamps to feed themselves and their families. The choice in this election is clear. Under President Obama, we’ll get another four years like the last four years. If I’m elected, we will have a real recovery with pro-growth policies that will create 12 million new jobs and rising incomes for everyone.”

That's funny.....
Like we're going to panic because of a small drop like this, when we know it's going to be adjusted and right back up there JUST BEFORE THE ELECTIONS.

No...we're not worried dear. But if it makes you feel better...just keep think it :)

We know nothing. What we do know is any advantage that Mitt got on Wednesday night has been erased. Back to square one Mittster. The Moderate Mitt did not work. Let's try moving more to the right now.:clap2:

Oh it's not a "small" drop.

Big picture is that it is a huge drop. Unemployment was at 10% in October of 2009. That's before the stimulus was implemented and Obama's policies took effect.

His numbers..in this regard..are better then George W. Bush's.

They can make up whatever they want. Yippee. He lies about everything else why wouldn't he lie about the employment numbers. Obama had to do something its obvious no one thinks he is Presidential when compared to Romney.

100,000 jobs created. 800,000 more people employed.

Please explain that.

Seriously.

Maybe Obama will "tout" this the next time he's on national television getting his ass handed to him by Romney.

That "crappy" number was a result of George W. Bush policies..and their administration misrepresenting the gravity of the crisis.

It's now turned around. And with numbers BETTER then George W. Bush's.

Yet, people do blame Bush for the recession. The recession did start under Bush.

You can complain about "blaming Bush" all you want, but the truth is the truth!

With US jobs hiring "surging" like it is we'll soon see Ben Bernanke say that he's gonna' stop QEInfinity because the Economy is improving right?

Right?

Reminding these people does no good. They're the same people that say Bush kept us safe. Of course 9-11 didn't happen did it? If Bush was allowed eight years to bring the economy to the brink of disaster, how can Obama fix it in 3 years eight months? Notice positive employment numbers today? It's a conspiracy just like the positive poll numbers for Obama. The stock market is up since Obama got in also. Another conspiracy. I watched debate and honestly can't say how people can say Obama got wuuped, had his azz handed to him, on and on. He was relaxed, calm like an adult dealing with a hyper overexuberant child.

Actually Bush inherited Clintons recession.

But don't let the facts get in your way.

Even Faux News is having trouble with these numbers...

Why would panic set in when the rate dropped because of lower participation rate.........AGAIN..........??

7.8% is good news for the country

All real Americans should be happy

7.8% is good news for the country

All real Americans should be happy

Why should Americans rejoice at a lower participation rate.

So democrats can make false claims....???

IE......................LYING THROUGH IMPLYING

7.8% is good news for the country

All real Americans should be happy

Because more people gave up looking for work the "official" unemployment numbers dropped. By that logic, if Obama can get another 10 million people so discouraged that they give up looking for a job and instead start collecting welfare, unemployment and food stamps, he'll have 6% unemployment!! He's an economic master!!

Seriously? That's good news? You're not that stupid......and neither are voters.
