Barack is going to need all the help he can get if he's going to run for re-election in 2012. I've read that Massachusetts Governor Duval Patrick has hinted at jumping on the bandwagon as well.

Full of confidence, and a bit of bluster, since his reelection in November, the governor said yesterday that he is planning more travel, both domestically and overseas, to promote the state on trade missions, to research other states’ policies, to publicize his upcoming memoir, and possibly to campaign for President Obama.

Patrick plans to expand travels during second term - The Boston Globe

Funny stuff. Please explain how four more years of gridlock in DC advances the needs of America. Obama should just fade away. Hope he takes his socialism with him.

I am glad he is quitting. Now he knows how Sarah Palin felt?? :) Seriously though, he has a terribly stressful job of defending the indefensible and he needs a break and I need a fresh face in his position. He did his job well, in my opinion.

Seriously... who would want that job? Being a nonstop bullshit fountain, day in and day out?

    Hell no.

It's a tough job no matter who's the president. Long hours and modest pay, but a chance to cash in with a book when it's over and other opportunities. Look what Dana Perino has parlayed her stint in to these days.

The inner circle is out finding new work. Not the mark of a successful operation.
