....as the foul stench of schadenfreude permeates the room.

It'd take a lot more than the losing a few zeroes to give me the feeling of "schadenfruede." I liked the scene in Gangs of New York, if you've ever watched that movie. If things keep worsening, there will be hell to pay for the rich.

After every depression, and let us face it, this has, is, a depression, there usually follows a great compression, where maldistributed money is redistributed. Hopefully it'll be by health care, by a living wage, and by taxing the top few percent Katie Courics, Bill O'Lielly's, and Rush Limpballs, and creating jobs for the 18 percent unemployed.

Hell, maybe they'll get a little wise and start a bit of protectionism, and maybe our Congress will stop throwing workers to the dogs, just to help the super rich. But now I'm dreamin'.
