Could somebody please explain the appeal of this "sport" to me?

it appeals to gays for obvious reasons!

There have been any number of prominent Homosexual wrestlers over the years. Guys like Goldust and the Adorable Adrian Adonis are proud gay beaus prancing through the WWF and antagonizing straight wrestlers. A lot of guys to appeal to different ethnic as well have done a lot to make wrestling a diverse sport.

‘Professional Wrestling ‘ is not a sport.

There have been allegations that wrestling is fake since at least the 1980's. John Stossel, then working for ABC's 20/20 discussed this issue with Dr. David Schultz.
